Olivia stood right in front of the mirror, staring at herself with an unsure expression. How long had it been since she dressed like this? It had to be before she was married to Ethan Fordham.
She always had a beautiful figure, but that never came with great self–confidence, and she hated it. Now that Olivia was staring at herself, she was beginning to see that young lady every man wanted in the past,
Her young self was extremely stunning,
“Are you sure this is a nice dress, Stella? I believe it might be rather too exposing.”
Her cleavages ensured to be at the right places with the help of the red tight knee–level dress
“It’s just perfect baby girl,” Stella uttered, taking ten seconds to adore Olivia’s figure,
“Just take a look at yourself, my dear cousin. That bastard ex–husband has no idea what he lost. You’re going to show them. You’re going to show the world what you’re made of.” She continued while Olivia inhaled a deep breath in,
“Now don’t forget, it’s Bryan Millers we’re talking about here, Olivia. He’s super wealthy and famous too. You want to know who the love of his life is?”
Olivia cocked her head backward to look at Stella,
“He has a girlfriend?”
Stella chuckled, “Why? Are you interested?” She questioned with a teasing expression and Olivia I’ll rolled her eyes at Stella. It certainly wasn’t what she was thinking because that was so dirty,
“It’s not what you’re thinking, Stella. I just don’t want her to feel like I’m an intruder, okay? I’ve had enough with one man already, for now, I’ve got to stay away from men till I can see a reason to even want one again.”
“Olivia…” Stella called softly and touched her shoulder,
She made Olivia turn towards the mirror once again so she could stare at herself,
“Look at yourself in the mirror, Olivia, you’re extremely beautiful. Do not let a man ruin your chances of getting that fairytale romance you always dreamt of. There’s always someone out there who’s meant for you, you just have to find him. If Ethan doesn’t love you, then that’s his loss. That blockhead has no idea what you’re capable of and what he gave up on.”
Olivia let out a small smile,
“It’s his grandmother,” Stella concluded and Olivia arched her brows,
“His grandmother?”
“Yes. That’s Bryan’s only family. Nobody has any idea what happened to his mother, father, and little sis years ago, but all he has left is his grandmother. Ms Stephanie Millers. She’s the CEO’s of Millers Graham Hospital. She named it after her late
son.”
Still staring at Stella, a tear slid down Olivia’s eyes without notice. Why did she just feel it? Why did she just feel sorry for a man she had no idea about nor had she met? His family was gone, except his grandma. That had to be the most tragic news she had ever heard
It hurt more because she was in the best position to feel his pain. Her mother was gone and her father was dead to her. She had no siblings so there was no one to rely on except Stella.
“Are you crying?” Stella’s question brought Olivia out of her brief moment of pity and she fluttered her brows,

“You’re going to end up ruining your make–up if you let more tears down, Olivia.” She said and picked up a napkin to could clean the already fallen tears staining Olivia’s face,
“I just can’t help it. I feel for him already.”
Stella scoffed, “You’re perfect for tonight. Now, I already talked to Dave so he’s going to give you an opportunity to have a conversation with Bryan at the party. Make it brief, Olivia, we don’t want his crazy woman coming after you, okay. Try to convince him, and I’ll have Dave put in some good words on your behalf too.”
Olivia let out a smile, wrapping her arms around Stella’s waist. She pulled her into a hug,
“I love you so much couz.” Olivia muttered,
“I love you too. Now let’s get your shoes. I think I have the perfect shoes for you.”
An hour later, a loud car honk was heard outside,
“Stella!” Olivia yelled from the living room as she rose to her feet and began to walk towards the stairs. When a knock was rasped on the door afterwards, he heart thumped harder.
“I’m coming. That must be Dave, he got here earlier than expected.” Stella responded, walking down the stairs to the living room. The moment she opened the door, a wide smile appeared on her lips,
“Hey you…”
Her words were afterwards interjected by a kiss, and when they both stepped into the house, Olivia chuckled lightly. Noticing her presence, Dave immediately let go of Stella,
“Oh my goodness, I didn’t see you there.”
Once again, Olivia chuckled with a shy smile on,
“No, it’s okay. I feel so bad for interrupting something so beautiful. I’m Olivia by the way. I guess you must be Dave, Stella told me so much already so it’s hard not to know.”
“Olivia, wow, you’re just as beautiful as Stella mentioned. I can say she left out a lot in describing your beauty.”
Olivia gently averted her gaze to Stella who smiled at her. It was just as if the stare was telling Stella that indeed she had found a sweet and lovely guy,
“Alright, that’s all for the introduction. We’ll do better after the party else Bryan’s surprise is going to be over before it starts. Babe, did you get everything ready?” Stella questioned, and Dave nodded his head,
“Don’t worry, I made him think it’s a patient that needs urgent care. There’s no way he’s going to miss that. Come on, let’s leave.”
Staring at both of them, Olivia couldn’t help but wish for something like this. She had never been Lucky with love and maybe it just wasn’t meant for her,
“Come on, let’s leave.” Stella said and after Olivia nodded her head, she grabbed her small silver purse and began to walk out of the living room.
The journey didn’t take as long as Olivia expected because in 30 minutes, they arrived The car was parked outside an apartment which to Olivia was more like a mini mansion,
“Who owns this place?” Olivia whispered to Stella as they all stepped out of the car,
“It’s a gift, for Bryan. His grandmother got this for him and asked that we use it for the surprise party.”

“It would be if Bryan would simply just accept the gift. The isn’t the first time he rejected all the mansions for his previous birthdays, Olivia This time we decided to go for this. Probably he doesn’t want something so big.” Stella said, but to Olivia, it wasn’t just that.
“Or probably he just doesn’t want to be somewhere lonely. Where does he live at the moment, Stella?”
“In his late family’s home. I have no idea why he still wishes to live there instead of somewhere else that doesn’t remind him of the pains.”
“It’s hard to let go of some memories, Stella, especially when you’re scared letting go for a second would make you forget everything and be happy.” Olivia responded,
Why did almost everything about this young man remind her of herself? Olivia thought inwardly and suddenly felt Stella’s
touch.
“Are you lost again? Come on, let’s go in and get everything ready. You don’t need to touch a thing, you should be getting your speech ready instead because Ms Stephanie Millers would be coming too.”
