In a marriage, the one at fault was usually the one who was spoiled and took things for granted.
Anneliese laughed. “Of course. What would I want him for? His bad habits? The fact he’s almost thirty and already losing his charm? Or maybe his crazy mom, his clueless sister, or that scheming ex he can’t let go of?”
Jessica nodded quickly. “Exactly! After the divorce, we can find a younger, sweeter boy toy. Isn’t that better? Tonight, I’ll let you see what it’s like to be a player”
Half an hour later, they arrived at a private room in Velour.
Anneliese looked at the lineup of more than ten male escorts in different outfits and roles. She realized being a player wasn’t as easy as it sounded.

Not wanting to waste her friend’s effort, she sat and accepted it with a smile.

To be fair, it really did help her forget her worries for a while, and she couldn’t stop laughing.

Under the dim lights, his features looked sharp, and the uniform seemed real. For a moment, with his head slightly lowered and the cap brim casting a shadow, he almost looked like someone else.
