Rosie bit her lip and hurried after Kevin as he walked out. Her eyes darted around, thoughts swirling in her mind like a storm.
“Dad, let’s find a corner to sit down and talk,” Rosie said quietly.
She forced herself to look at the people around her; these were faces she’d only ever seen on TV, and now they were all right here in front of her.

Rosie was about to walk away, but as Zina passed Rosie, she suddenly felt her wrist seized. Rosie lifted her chin, let out a cold snort, and looked at her with utter disdain.
“How did you sneak in here? Look at you, all shabby and pathetic. Did your sugar daddy bring you along? Or are you hoping to find a new one tonight?” she sneered.
Rosie added, “Why don’t you take a good look at yourself in the mirror? Just being near you is bad luck.
“You’d better keep those filthy thoughts to yourself. This is the Lambert family, you know. Have you even heard of them?”
“Seriously, I’m actually really close with Miss Lambert. If you bow and beg me right now, maybe–if I’m in a
