Kellan had rarely seen Zina gritting her teeth like this, and for a moment, he found it a bit odd.
His hand hung loosely at his side, and his fingertips tapped the phone beside him, each tap landing with perfect precision.
As the evening grew darker, Zina had no intention of keeping Kellan any longer. She spoke in a low voice, “Alright, you should head back now. It’s getting late. I’ll think about the rest later, and if I hear anything, I’ll let you know right away.”
