“Is there something wrong Mr Luke? If you have any message, I’d prefer you drop it and I’ll pass it to her.” Bryan uttered on the phone
“Mr Fordham clearly stated that the message be passed to Ms Olivia directly,” Luke responded.
Ethan clutched his fingers when he heard Ethan’s name and when he cocked his head towards Olivia, he took in a deep breath to calm himself. Thankfully, she was the only person who could make him control his anger as all he had to do was stare at her and think of how lucky he was to have her,
Most importantly, the last thing Bryan wanted was to mess up the contract deal knowing that it meant a lot to Olivia,
If he had known earlier that there was a relationship between the two, just maybe he would never have signed a contract to begin with.
“You have a call.” He uttered and began walking towards the living room,
“Who’s it?”
“It’s a message from Mr Fordham,” Bryan responded and Olivia instantly widened her eyes,
What the hell did Ethan want with her again? He was suddenly being a pest and she hated it.
She outstretched her hand and collected the phone from Bryan,
“Hello…”
“Ms Olivia?”
“Luke?”
She could recognize that voice anywhere, “Is that you?”
“Yes, ma’am,” Luke responded, and with Bryan’s gaze on hers, Olivia nodded her head, gesturing at him that everything was alright.
“What’s wrong? Why did you call?”
“Mr Fordham needs your help urgently and it’s really important. He’s asked for your immediate arrival.” Luke informed, but Olivia remained quiet, unable to answer almost immediately.
Once again, she averted her gaze towards Bryan and at Noah and the feeling of guilt came pouring in again,
She had left when throughout the night and was with Ethan.
“Tell him whatever is wrong can wait till tomorrow. I need to rest and be with my family. I’m sorry Luke, but have a good night.” Olivia responded and before Luke could utter another word, she ended the call and exhaled deeply,
“Is everything okay?” Bryan questioned but with a fake smile, Olivia nodded her head,
“Yes, everything’s fine,” Olivia responded as she lay down on the sofa,
“Tell me everything you did today, baby; I wanna hear them. Every bit of it.” She uttered to Noah as soon as Bryan walked into the kitchen.

About an hour later, it was time for bed,
“Noah’s asleep. Can you take him to his room?” Olivia uttered but as soon as Bryan touched him, the little boy snuggled on his mom even more not wanting to let go
“Come on baby, it’s time for bed.”

“Will you sleep with me, Mommy?” Noah questioned half asleep and Olivia nodded her head with a peck on his forehead,
“Mommy will come join you in a few minutes, baby, I promise.” She responded before Bryan picked him up,
Olivia let out another deep sigh, her mind unable to stop thinking about Ethan and what it was that might have been so important,
“You really have to move on, Olivia. Ethan is past tense, and you’re going to have a new family soon.” She muttered to herself, reaching for her clutches,
With a slight struggle, Olivia rose to her feet,
She took a step towards the stairs before hearing the doorbell ring,
With a thought on who it could be when the doorbell rang again, her gaze darted to the door and she began heading towards the door,
“Who’s that?” She questioned and unlocked the door but her eyes grew wide when she saw Ethan standing at the entrance of the house with his eyes red and swollen,
“Wh…. What are you…”
“P…please help me, Olivia.” Ethan’s voice interjected hers almost immediately and just before she could respond, she watched him carefully go onto his knees,
“I need you, Olivia. My daughter’s dying and I desperately need your help.”
