I could sense her powers before she walked into my classroom, she was as strong as a God, but her powers were different than any I had ever encountered before. Who was she, what was she, and why did I feel the sudden need to posses her? I have never felt that need before. While I have bedded many women before, I’ve never felt a connection to one. This connection was I felt towards her, was strange. It wasn’t one based on love and companionship like a mate bond. It was more animalistic in nature, I felt the need to own and control her. Could she have activated the powers I’d always new were buried deep down thanks to my bloodline; the powers of Loki, the God of Mischief and Erie, the Goddess of Chaos. Did I want to posses her so I could use her powers to create chaos in the world.
I hated that my divine gifts came from Loki and Iris, whenever I went, people flinched in my presence, expecting destruction to follow me. What most people didn’t know was that my bloodline wasn’t that strong. My great great great grandfather was the son of Loki and Iris‘ coupling. My great great and my great grandfather both married a human. My father practically a human, his divine blood practically non existent, married my mother, the daughter of Discordia and a human. Apparently mom’s genes were just strong enough to pass onto me and active my dad’s genes as well, making me just a tad stronger than the normal demigod and giving me the powers of Loki, Iris, and Discordia; a trifecta of chaos. I had never unlocked my dark divine gifts. I made sure for the last nine years to keep them locked and under key, that was until I met Katrina, one whiff of her powers, and the darkness inside of me is trying to crawl out of it’s pit.
Beckett is trying to pull superiority over me, and I won’t let that shit stand. He isn’t anyone right now. He is still only a heir, he isn’t king yet, and even if he was king he wouldn’t be my king, that would be Miles. And the Headmaster knew not to fuck with me. I was more powerful than him and he needed me as a teacher, I was crucial in helping those of Divine blood manifest and control their Godly given gifts. Without me, the academy would be a dangerous place. It was an ironic situation, me; a descendant of chaos was the only person who could control the chaos at this school. Reminding Beckett of my authority, I wasn’t surprised when he sat down. I couldn’t help but study his beautiful mate’s backside as she watched Beckett walk to the back of the classroom. The skirt to her uniform was almost too short to cover her curvy ass. I could almost see the bottom of her ass cheeks; if she stood a few steps higher I would be able to. She had long gorgeous blond hair that hung just above her lower back, she’d left it perfectly straight. When she turned around I lowered my gaze, not wanting her to know I was checking her out. Although I could feel her gaze staring at me. And I could hear her thoughts, as she imagined what I would look like with my shirt off.
Her thoughts were the loudest in the class, most of the students by now had learned to block me and other descendants of Chaos. It was one of the first lessons they learned in sparring. The Valkyrie didn’t want anyone to have advantage over the other; to learn the true nature of sparring one must hone in on the skill, because in the midst of battle, even the descendants of chaos couldn’t use their mind reading ability to take advantage of their
opponent.
1 stood up abruptly from my desk, almost knocking my chair backwards in the process. I needed to discover Katrina’s powers now, maybe then I would be able to understand why her presence called to gifts.
“Katrina, if you would follow me this way please. To the rest of my class, practice the defensive mechanism we learned yesterday with the someone who is the same power level as you but has the opposite power as your own. That means, Sky Kingdom with the Underground Kingdom, And Earth Kingdom with Sea Kingdom. Once Katrina and I get back, you’ll each demonstrate what you’ve learned.”
