Chapter 13
In stark contrast to Natasha’s disarray, the church was adorned with white roses, the seats were filled with guests, and the media cameras were all eagerly focused on the bride at the end of the red carpet.
Elizabeth stood beside Kaiden in her wedding dress, her expression calm, yet her eyes were cold and desolate.
Just as the priest was about to recite the vows, Kaiden’s phone suddenly rang.
He didn’t want to answer it at first, because no one was allowed to disturb st, because no one was allowed to disturb his wedding with Eliza. But the phone kept ringing relentlessly, clearly something urgent.
He looked at Elizabeth apologetically, frowned, and answered the call, only to hear his subordinate’s panicked voice on the other end.
“Mr. Renard! The Stenson family… the entire Stenson family has disappeared!“;
Kaiden’s smile froze instantly. He whipped his head around to look at Elizabeth, his pupils contracting sharply.
She stood there quietly, the corners of her lips slightly curved.
She was laughing at him.
So, she had planned everything from the start.
“Eliza…” His voice trembled as he instinctively reached out to grab her. “Don’t go…”

But at that moment, the church doors were suddenly flung open!
Javion Renard stood at the entrance, dressed in a black suit, his face stern, with dozens of bodyguards in black behind him.
His gaze swept past all the guests and landed directly on Elizabeth.
“I’m here to take her.”
Kaiden’s face darkened completely. He gripped Elizabeth’s wrist tightly, his hold almost painful.
“Uncle,” he sneered, asserting his claim, “this is my wedding.”
“Your wedding?” Javion glanced indifferently at the red marks on Elizabeth’s wrist, his eyes growing colder. “A marriage forced upon her— does that even deserve to be called a wedding?”
Kaiden abruptly yanked Elizabeth behind him, his gaze fierce. “She is mine!”
“From the moment you started threatening her, she stopped being yours.” Javion raised his hand, and the bodyguards behind him immediately closed in.
Kaiden’s men also stepped forward at once, the two sides facing off, tension crackling in the air.
But Kaiden’s madness had surpassed Elizabeth’s imagination. He suddenly raised his hand and pointed a gun directly at Javion’s forehead.
In front of everyone, he dared to act, and not just against anyone—against his own uncle.
Just as the atmosphere reached its breaking point, Elizabeth suddenly broke free from Kaiden’s grip and stepped in front of Javion.
Chapter 13
“Eliza?!” Kaiden stared at her in disbelief.
She looked up, her gaze calm. “Kaiden, that’s enough.”
Kaiden’s breath caught, the madness in his eyes nearly overflowing.
“You choose him? You actually choose him? I was the one who grew up with you–what is he to you!”
