Chapter 365 You Decide
“My worthiness isn’t for you to decide,” Jonathan said.

Unless Anneliese refused, no one could stop him from leveling this place to the ground.
After speaking, he turned to Anneliese, waiting for her answer.
Zacharias‘ eyes were bloodshot as he stared intently at Anneliese too.
“Anne, this was our home. I worked so hard to restore it to its original state. I transferred the villa to you, not so you could let someone else tear it down.”
Anneliese also looked at him. Under the cold white light, his handsome face was deathly pale, and his bloodshot eyes seemed to bleed with pain.
Yet, she only felt mocked.
Before the divorce, he had secretly built another home outside and often stayed away.
Now he was pretending to be devoted, acting heartbroken.
Her voice was calm and cold as she said, “I already sold the house. I’m no longer the owner, so I have no right to stop this.”
The agent had found a buyer and pushed her to complete the paperwork.
At the time, she was still in the hospital caring for her grandmother, so the agent came to her for the signatures and handled everything else.
By yesterday, the transfer was complete. The villa now belonged to its new owner.
However, back at the property office, the buyer was listed as a man named Kingsley Walt.
Clearly, he’s Jonathan’s man.
Upon hearing this, Zacharias glared at Jonathan. “So you bought the villa? Jonathan, you’re utterly despicable.”
Judging by Anneliese’s expression, she hadn’t known the buyer was Jonathan, much less that he intended to demolish the place.
Zacharias clenched his fists in rage, jaw tight with bulging veins.

Jonathan remained composed. “So what if I did?”

If Zacharias hadn’t kept forcing his presence into their lives, disturbing them again and again, he wouldn’t have gone this far.
After being disgusted by him countless times, destroying a little piece of his nostalgia was already more mercy than he deserved.
Zacharias hadn’t realized that while distracted by his mother and sister’s affairs, the villa had already slipped into Jonathan’s hands.
His chest heaved. “I’ll pay triple. No, 10 times the price. Sell the villa to me.”
“Tch. Who do you think you’re looking down on? Who needs your dirty money?” Joel, leaning casually on a car hood, sneered.
Zane also said, “Keep that money for your grave. You’ll need it sooner or later.”
Of course, Zacharias knew money meant nothing to Jonathan. Not 10 times, not even 100 times, the price would change anything.
Nevertheless, he had no idea how else to stop this.
“Anne, no matter what, you designed this place yourself. You put your heart into it. Do you really have the heart to destroy it?”
Selina stepped forward, holding Zacharias as she frowned at Anneliese.
She didn’t care if the villa was razed, but saying this would make Zacharias grateful.
If Anneliese were persuaded, it would humiliate Jonathan in public and make him think Anneliese still cared.
That was exactly what Selina wanted.
“Anne…”
Just as she tried to continue, Anneliese cut her off with a cold glance. “Even cake can’t shut your filthy mouth.”
Haunted by the memory of cake splattered across her face, Selina fell silent and hid behind
Zacharias.
Jonathan pulled out his phone and made a call. Not far away, the foreman in a yellow uniform standing by the bulldozers picked up.

Then, Jonathan handed the phone to Anneliese.
“You decide,” he said in a deep voice.
He gave her the final say.

For a moment, light flickered in Zacharias‘ despairing eyes. He stared at Anneliese, hopeful and pleading.
Anne won’t do it. She won’t let go so easily and watch their home turn to dust.
Nevertheless, when Jonathan passed her the phone, Anneliese only paused for a heartbeat.
Then, without hesitation or struggle, she took it and said, “Proceed.”
Almost as soon as her words fell, several massive bulldozers roared to life.
With overwhelming force, they toppled large sections of the outer wall in an instant. As they pushed forward, trees fell like brittle twigs, and streetlamps crashed down.
“Anneliese!”
Zacharias snapped back to himself, eyes bloodshot, his body swaying as if he might collapse.
