Chapter 325
Chapter 325
TE DA KRICITY
Ashton pretended not to notice the guilty look on Briar’s face. Right in front of her, he sent the bloody scene video to Thiago.
Sure enough, just as Ashton predicted, Thiago was completely thrown off when he received it.
His secretary, watching the way the corners of his mouth twitched uncontrollably, couldn’t help but laugh. “Mr. Wade, did that scare you?”
The scene was indeed quite bloody and terrifying.
Anyone without a strong stomach probably wouldn’t even dare watch it all the way through.
When filming, Ashton deliberately focused on the mangled and bloody limbs. The result was no less shocking than what they had seen at the scene.
“I’m not scared. I’m furious at that brat!” Thiago tossed his phone onto the desk. “What does he mean by sending me this video? Is he telling me to hurry up and clean up their mess?”
The secretary wanted to laugh but didn’t dare. “Actually, what Mr. Ashton Wade did wasn’t wrong.”
Seeing Thiago glare at him, the secretary quickly explained, “Just look at the footage. Briar clearly lost control for a bit, but she still followed your orders and didn’t kill anyone outright.”
Thiago snorted. “So what? I’m supposed to praise them because they didn’t kill anyone?”
He lowered his head and replayed the video again. He felt the urge to smash his phone. “And how is this any different from killing them outright?”
The secretary went silent.
Regardless of how furiously Thiago reacted after watching the video.
In the cave, Briar’s hatred gradually subsided, and she started to clean up the aftermath with Ashton and two others.
They were not dead, but they might as well have been.
So, the question was how to keep them alive until Thiago’s men arrived to take over.
At the very least, they should provide some basic first aid or at least stop the bleeding.
Otherwise, if they just let these people lie here bleeding out, they’d be dead soon anyway.
“Briar, what do you think? Can you patch them up for now? Letting them die like this would be letting them off too easily.” Ashton spoke cautiously, afraid he might provoke her.
In Briar’s mind, these people deserved to be tortured to death on the spot. But killing them would not solve the problem.

These men were the best witnesses. If they died, there would be no one to testify, and all the injustice Briar had endured would have been for nothing.
“I know. I won’t let them die before we send them in.” Briar wasn’t reckless. Having vented her anger, she was calmer now.
So, Ashton and the other two began carrying the men to Briar one by one, like they were dead bodies, for her to stop their bleeding.
Since the bullets had only hit their arms and legs, it wasn’t hard to stop the bleeding. And Thiago, knowing what had happened here, would definitely send doctors with his men when they arrived.
After half an hour of work, Thiago’s men finally arrived.
They were all Thiago’s trusted men, most of whom Ashton, Reece, and Hamish recognized, except for one man standing at the very back, whose left cheek bore an ugly, thick scar.
But since the man was just following behind the team doctor, Reece and Hamish didn’t think too much of it.
Ashton, on the other hand, stared at the man for a few moments.
The leader was Sebastian Brennan, one of Thiago’s most trusted men who specialized in handling dirty, behind–the–scenes work. He often dealt with Ashton and the others.
So, as soon as he entered, he walked up to Ashton and said respectfully, “Mr. Ashton Wade, Mrs. Wade, Mr. Goodwin, Mr. Parkinson, we’ll take it from here.”
Ashton nodded. “Good. They’re all still alive. We’ve done some basic first aid. Remember. Don’t let anyone die. I want every single one of them alive until the day they’re sent inside.”
Sebastian replied solemnly, “Understood. Rest assured.”
Sebastian always carried out Ashton’s orders to the letter.
Ashton had said these people couldn’t die yet, so Sebastian would ensure no harm came to them on his watch.
Besides, he was confident in his men. They were all loyal subordinates who had been with Thiago for years and knew perfectly well what they could and could not do.
After giving his instructions, Ashton turned to Briar, who was standing behind him and staring at something. “Honey, it’s getting late. Shall we head home?” he asked in a low voice.
Briar snapped out of it, then pointed to the scar–faced man hiding behind the doctor. “Hamish, seize him.”
Hamish paused for a second before lunging at the man with the scarred left cheek. “Roger that.”
Although he did not know why Briar wanted to arrest this man, he acted without hesitation.
The moment he stepped into the cave, the man with the scar on his left cheek felt a hostile gaze on him.
He looked back impassively and met a pair of cold, venomous eyes. He knew Briar had likely discovered his

identity.

So when Briar ordered Hamish to catch him, he quickly turned and tried to run out.

The man thought, ‘Damn it! Didn’t the boss say my identity was still safe? Why did Briar notice me?‘
But no matter how fast he moved, he couldn’t outrun Hamish’s tackle. He only managed a few steps before he was slammed to the ground.
As they both hit the ground, Hamish pinned the man’s hands firmly behind his back, immobilizing him.
“Ashton, it seems even Thiago’s men aren’t invulnerable!” Hamish joked after restraining the man.
Reece stepped forward and found two handguns on the man with a scarred left cheek, his expression strange. “Well, well. These guns definitely aren’t standard issue for Thiago’s men.”
Ashton’s expression darkened further. He walked over, kicked the man’s jaw out of place, and said coldly, “Talk. Who sent you?”
With his jaw dislocated, saliva dripped uncontrollably from the man’s mouth. He couldn’t speak, but the glare he shot Ashton said clearly he’d rather die than talk.
The humiliation came so swiftly that Sebastian was too stunned to register it at first.
He had just been silently relieved that his men were loyal, but less than two minutes later, Briar had exposed the traitor.
At that moment, Sebastian felt utterly miserable.
“Damn it! Scarface Tiger, how dare you betray Mr. Thiago Wade? I’ll kill you!” With that, Sebastian drew his gun and lunged forward, about to shoot him dead.
Reece quickly stopped Sebastian. “Easy, easy. Let’s hear how Ashton wants to handle this first.”
This was not the time for anger. There had to be a secret here that they didn’t know about.
Reece and Hamish exchanged a look. Things were getting more interesting.
