Miela’s POV
I felt my body free, my eyes locked onto the sight in front of me, unable to tear away. There, standing with an air of defiance, was a woman–armless, yet whole, as though nothing in this cruel world had touched her, But it was the look on her face that sent a chill straight to my core.
No, it couldn’t be. She was supposed to be gone–forever.
*IMPOSSIBLE!” I screamed, my voice cracking with disbelief
“You–You should be dead by now! You should be DEAD!” My chest heaved with each word, like a dam breaking as my anger, fear, and confusion collided
The woman didn’t flinch. A cold, almost cruel smile tugged at her lips
“Why?” she asked, her voice smooth like a knife cutting through the air. “Just because you expelled me from Direstone and took my wolf claws, you thought that would be the end? Sorry to disappoint you, Lady Miela, but I’m very much alive. Thank you for your concern.”
My heart raced, could feel it in my throat, that acid burn of rage and disbelief. How dare she–how dare she show up like this, like a ghost from my past that I’d tried so desperately to bury?

Before I could finish, Thome’s icy gaze cut through me. He spoke, kis tone cold and commanding, “Cloak her mouth.”
In a flash, guards surrounded me, and before I could even react, they clamped my mouth shut. My heart pounded in my chest, a storm of helplessness building inside me. I shot a look at Thorne, my eyes brimming with tears, but he didn’t flinch. He didn’t look back.
His gaze flicked to Prisca, dismissing me entirely, and he spoke again, addressing her. “I remember you. Two years ago, you came into my room, tried to steal room key. You admitted your crime without hesitation. When I sentenced you to expulsion, you didn’t even argue. So what happened after

Prisca’s lips twisted into a bitter grin. She turned her gaze on me, and I felt the weight of it as though she was holding
“only admitted to the crime I didn’t commit,” she began, her voice shaking with the anger she’d clearly been holding in for far too long. “Miela forced me into it. She promised me safety, money–enough to last a lifetime. Even if I was expelled, she said she would take care of my family. She lied”
“She changed her mind?” Vessa pressed, leaning in, her voice tinged with suspicion.
“Yes!” Prisca’s voice cracked, her fists clenching at her sides. “She didn’t give me a damn thing. Nothing. She took my wolf claws. She kicked me out with my hands still bleeding, hoping the rogues would finish me off. Her hands would any clean while. Her voice faltered, tears threatening to spill.
“And as for your family?” Elara’s voice sliced through the air, her tone dripping with ice. “She didn’t take care of them either, did she!”

“No…“Prisca gritted her teeth, barely able to speak for the fury bubbling inside her. “She was afraid my family would tell you the truth to the the them out, burned my house to the ground Ashes. That’s all that’s left of averything thad. Her voice cracked.
The room fell silent for a moment, the weight of her words hanging in the air. The crowd’s shock was palpable, the disbelief thick in the atmosphere.
“This is…unbelievable,” Bex muttered, his tone low but firm. First, she framed her maid, then tried to frame Alpha Cael, Who knows what else that’s capable of? My Alpha may not be here, but I know he’d agree with me?”
People began nodding murmuring among themselves, their eyes fixed on Thorne, waiting for his response
Thorne’s expression didn’t change, the furrow between his brows deepening as he looked from Prisca to me: “Minda,” he began his voice so cold it made my skin prickle “do you have anything else to say?”
Tears burned my eyes, I wanted to scream, to beg, but the words didn’t come. I just shook my head, my body shaking uncontrollably

I could feel their eyes on me, every single pair of them, waiting for the truth to spill out of my lips.
“I–I didn’t do it!” Lcried, my voice barely above a whisper. “It’s all lies! Elara must have paid her off I could hardly speak through the sobs, but the more I struggled, the more the truth seemed to slip through the cracks.
Elara’s laugh was sharp, mocking. “Paid her off? I just found her at the border two days ago. Miela. You think I could’ve pulled that off? Look at her, Mela Do you see the truth now?”
I couldn’t. I couldn’t look at her. The mere thought of facing her, seeing her ruined form–it tore at something deep inside me. I covered my face with shaking hands, unable to stop the sobs that wracked my body.
“Don’t make me look,” I begged. “Please…I can’t”
Prisca took a step forward, her footsteps echoing in the sudden silence. “You ruined my life,” she said, her voice hoarse. “The least you can do is look me in the eyes.
She held out her arm, her missing limbs a grotesque reminder of what I had done to her.
I couldn’t move. My legs gave out from under me, and I collapsed to the ground, hands tugging at my hair, a horrified scream ripping from my throat.
“STOPI STOP!” I screamed. “I admit it 1 DID IT! Just stop, please!”
The room erupted. People were shouting, arguing, it was chaos
Theo’s voice cut through the noise, loud and clear, “She admitted itt Alpha Thome, you heard her what are you going to do?”
Jory added his voice to the fray, his tone like thunder. “Alpha Thorne, don’t forget–it was our Alpha she tried to frame. The Blood Moon Pack demands justice!”
The noise intensified, but Thome raised his hand, silencing them.
All eyes turned to him. I could barely meet his gaze, my body still trembling from the fear, the shame, the guilt.
Thorne looked at me with nothing but cold detachment, his voice icy as he spoke, “Miela Diaz, given the weight of your crimes, I hereby sentence you to permanent eviction from Direstone Pack.”
The finality in his voice hit me like a blow, and as the crowd murmured around me, I realized there would be no escape this time.
