With feigned composure, Fiona said, “What money? When did I ever give anyone money?”
“You didn’17 I wouldn’t just make this up. If I’m saying it, I’ve got proof,” Stella replied.
Fiona fat–cut denied it. She said, “Even if I did give Silas a little money, that’s normal. My family needs my help–no one could blame me for that, no matter who you tell.”
“Oh? if it were just a little, that’d be fine, but you gave way too much. What do you think Andrew would do if I told him?” Stella asked
Fiona stuck to her story. She shot back, “Say whatever you want. It’s not true.
Seeing that Fiona was still stubbornly denying everything, Stella immediately picked up her phone and was about to call Andrew
Fiona hurriedly grabbed her hand and said, “Stella, what are you doing? Does it really make you that happy to see my marriage in trouble?”
Stella shot back, “Of course I’m happy. Why wouldn’t I be? You all stood by and watched me get bulled–weren’t you all pretty pleased with yourselves?
“Fiona, let me ask you straight–back then, the real reason you didn’t save me was because if I came back, Anna wouldn’t be able to take my spot at Quentiham, right?”

Stella sneered, “Fiona, I told you I don’t believe a single word that comes out of your Hayes family’s mouths, not even the punctuation”
She thought, ‘I won’t let Fiona and Andrew get away with it that easily. Call it revenge, call it trying to mess with their relationship–after what they did to me, I can’t act like nothing ever happened.
Suddenly, Fiona abruptly changed the subject. She said, “I came here to make you apologize to Silas and Bella. Come with me, now.” With that, she tried to drag Stella away.
But Jordan Immediately pulled Stella into his arms. He snapped, “Apologize for what? Stella didn’t do anything wrong. And you, maybe you should ask your precious brother what he’s been up to.”
Fiona said, “Silas just wanted to borrow some money. If you didn’t want to lend it fine, but why did you have to kick him out? Stella, what happened to you was our fault, but we’re trying to make it up to you.”
Stella cut her off. She said, “Trying to make it up to me? You keep saying that, but what have you done? Have you given me any money? Have you given The anything at all?”
“Didn’t we give you shares?” Fiona asked.
Stella let out a laugh, genuinely amused. She sneered. “Shares? You act like that’s a favor, but wasn’t it mine to begin with? You gave shares to Max and Anna, so why not me? Or am I not part of the Hayes family?
“Whenever there’s a problem, you expect me to fix it, but when it comes to Anna and Max, suddenly they’re not family? Why is it always me who has to sacrifice, while they get everything handed to them?
“So now you’re blaming me, your mother?” Fiona napped, her anger plain as day
“That’s right, I’m blaming you. Got a problem with that?” Stella shot back without hesitation.

Fiona was still uneasy, repeatedly asking what exactly Stella had done.
Jordan was curious, too.

Jordan glanced at them, a smirk appearing at the corner of his mouth. “Looks like their relationship isn’t so solid after all,” he said.

Stella stayed silent, her expression unreadable.

Stella looked at him and said, “There’s nothing I can’t say. Silas has had his eyes on me since I was a kid, always putting his hands on me.

Without Stella noticing, Jordan quietly shot a message to his assistant, ordering him to immediately investigate everything about Silas and anyone connected to the Hayes family who might have anything to do with Stella
Meanwhile, Anna had just gotten an invitation from a friend to a party that night.
This friend wasn’t just smart and resourceful–she’d even managed to land herself a boyfriend who was both rich and powerful.
Anna was always careful when it came to networking, if someone was useful, she made sure to cozy up to them.
Anna knew a bit about the Quinn family’s situation, but she couldn’t be sure what the future held. She felt she needed to have a backup plan for herself.
She thought, ‘If things fall apart with the Quinn family, I can always find someone better–ideally, someone even more impressive than Jordan, That way, I can show Dad and Mom that I am the one who truly comes out on top,”
She remembered she still had some jewelry tucked away, and since tonight’s event was a big deal, she had to pick out something extra fancy to wear.
But no matter how much she searched, she just couldn’t find it. So she called for one of the housemaids.
The maid shuffled over, looking all nervous and awkward–immediately making Anna feel that something was off,
“I’m asking you, where did my jewelry go?” Auna demanded.
“I really haven’t seen it. I’ve got other chory’s to do, so I’ll get back to work now,” the maid stammered, already trying to slip away.
Anna yanked the maid back and pinned her in place, making sure she couldn’t leave. She demanded, “Was it you? Did you steal it?”

The maid stared at her in shock and thought, Isn’t Anna supposed to be the sweetest one in this house? How could the actually hit someone?

Hearing this, other servants were shocked. But Anna was the mistress of the house, and since they were all just employees, they had no choice but to
obey.
When the whip was brought over, the maid thought Anna was just trying to scare her. She never thought Anru would use it on her But the down hard, and the pain was unbearable.

The other servants just stood there, completely stunned by what they were seeing.
Anna, who normally wouldn’t even let them kill a bug–she’d make them catch it and set it free outside. Now, as she lashed out at the maid, the vicious look on her face was downright terrifying
Maybe the maid was really scared now, because she finally broke down and cried out, “I’ll tell you.”
Anna gripped the whip, glaring at her as if to say,
