I try to remember who worked in the pack house. Faces and names have become blurry with time. I soon give up
trying to figure out who Michelle was.

“We want you to work with her on learning the faces of the pack and planning events. She will be able to teach you more about how the pack house is run than we ever could,” Mark chuckles.
“A Luna’s job is the heart of the pack, and most hearts are in the home,” Cal explains. “We want you to work with her in getting pack members to take pride in working at the pack house.”
“The Fourth of July is in a few weeks. Michelle is usually in charge of everything,” Mark says. “But we would like you to sit down with her and talk with her about her planning process. She runs the rest of the Omegas in the pack house like a well–oiled machine.”

“Why?” I ask, my curiosity peaked.
“She has had trouble with some of the Omegas actually working,” Mark answers me. “We had no idea that some

“But we need everyone pulling their weight and doing their job,” I supply.
“Exactly,” Mark says as he leans over and kisses my cheek.
“They have spent too long with out a Luna overseeing them and they no longer respect the head Omega,” Cal

“So, I’m supposed to work with Michelle and scare everyone into shape?” I ask in a teasing tone.
“Be absolutely terrifying,” Mark laughs.
