Chapter 380
Sean was in such pain that he wished he could die, but his survival instincts took over, and he reached out with his blood- soaked hands to grab Austin’s wrist.
Austin let out a low, mocking chuckle, his dimples deepening. He didn’t bother shaking Sean off. Instead, he used his other hand to clamp down on Sean’s neck, forcing his head back so he couldn’t even look away.
With the hand holding the bottle, Austin pressed down, little by little, against Sean’s desperate resistance.
Sean might have looked like he had some muscle, but he was all show and no substance-especially now, with both hands injured and his whole body shaking in panic.
With just one hand, Austin had Sean completely helpless.
All Sean could do was stare in sheer terror as the broken bottle inched closer and closer to his eye, his blood gathering at the sharpest tip-and there was nothing he could do to escape. It felt like he was being cut to pieces alive.
The next moment, blood dripped straight into his eye. Sean’s world suddenly turned blood-red, and everything around him blurred out of focus.
But he could still see the bottle inching closer and closer to his eye. And behind the bottle, Austin’s face loomed-grinning like a maniac, his eyes filled with a bloodthirsty madness.
In that moment, Sean felt like he was staring straight into the face of a demon, a demon wearing a human mask. And that was the last thing his eyes would ever see.
A muffled, blood-curdling scream faintly made its way through the soundproof door to the bodyguards standing outside.
The two bodyguards shared a look, and in each other’s eyes, they saw a flash of fear for Austin.
In an instant, the two of them quickly averted their eyes, standing guard at the door with tense, anxious vigilance, not daring to slack off for even a second.
Because deep down, they both knew-if anyone went in and interrupted Austin, the next unlucky victim could very well be them.
After what felt like forever, the door finally opened, and the blood-curdling screams fell silent.
Austin walked out with a sunny, relaxed smile, his face, clothes, and hands all smeared with blood.
The two bodyguards kept their heads bowed, not even daring to sneak a glance at him.
Austin tossed the camera over and said, “Erase all the footage on this, then hand the guy in the room over to the police. Get the best lawyer you can find and make sure he gets the maximum sentence.
“And while you’re at it, drag the Sinclair family into this mess too.”
He thought, ‘With the Bennett Group’s vice president in trouble, let’s see if Andrew still has the time or energy to keep hassling Emily!
After giving these orders, Austin finally took the handkerchief from the bodyguard and wiped his hands. Looking at the blood on his hands, his face was full of distaste. He instructed, “Get me a room.”
He needed to get cleaned up before seeing Emily-he didn’t want her to smell this bloody mess on him.

Chapter 380
Just thinking of Emily made those dimples appear on his cheeks again. It was as if that ruthless, savage side of him from just moments ago had been nothing but a hallucination.
Austin moved quickly. After cleaning the blood off himself, he went straight to find Emily.
By then. Emily had just finished getting her injuries treated at the hospital with Isolde. As the two of them walked out, they spotted Austin waiting by the car.
Isolde walked Emily over to Austin and said to Emily. “We’ll talk about our business once you’re healed. She was always a woman of few words. After saying that, she nodded at Austin in greeting and walked off without another word.
Even though everything tonight had gone according to plan, Isolde knew she still had a long road ahead if she wanted to truly avenge Deborah. She hugged her jacket tighter and sped up, her lonely figure quickly swallowed up by the darkness.
Emily watched Isolde disappear, feeling a wave of emptiness and loss. She wished Isolde could live the simple, peaceful life Deborah had hoped for her-but she knew Isolde never would.
Isolde had been raised by Deborah, and she was every bit as stubborn.
