79 Parker Hed been visiting the Hollowed Moon pack every four weeks for the past six months , staying for five days at a time , drove out in one day and drove home in one day , regardless of the length of the drive .
Because he couldnt be away from his pack for more than a week , there was a lot to do with the running of a conglomerate of packs .
He was slowly getting to know Whitney and trying to create a bond with Belladonna as well .
He made sure to not only spend time with just Whitney but sit with Belladonna and talk to her as well .
Was trying to get to know her .
Though she was busy at times delivering pups , and he wouldnt interfere with her job .
Hed not found anything on her mother , though he had looked into it .
It had happened while he was still a boy himself of just 15 , and hed not taken over the Lustrous Moon until his parents had died when he was 24 and hadnt started clearing out those horrid Alphas around him until he was 28.
He had no knowledge on her mother .
But there were plenty of not so nice files she could read about her fathers wrong doings , wolves hed bought and slaved into his pack , wolves that mans own Luna had also bought and slaved into the pack .
Though he had advised her not to read them , they werent pretty .
He also thought that was likely how her mother had probably come to be there herself .
Shed asked him about the dissolving of her home pack , and hed nodded , theyd been hauled in for k ******** g a young she wolf only to find she wasnt that at all .
Was in fact a plant from the Wolfen Council to try and catch them in the act , and she wasnt so young either .
Magic had been used to make her look young .
Theyd been caught and captured , prosecuted by the Wolfen Council themselves , where hed found out , locked away in the kings mines for a period of 500 years .
Shed stared at him and sighed , asked about her half siblings , and hed stated They werent involved but all those that had been made to be there , when your eldest brother took over , had the option to leave and go back to their home packs .
Their forced mates were made by the council to accept rejections , and they were set free .
The pack was too small in the end and the council dissolved it , because none would go to their aid , due to who resided there , wolves that were willing to take others against their will even if at their Alphas orders .
It seemed a bit unfair that they didnt get punished , but most had been Alpha Ordered by their 1/4 79 +8 Poin own Alpha to take the mate they were presented with , and told to breed with them , have children and grow the pack .
Half of them didnt get punished at all .
They werent terrible Mates , they were just as much victims as the she wolves or he wolves that they were made to mate with .
The other half had been shipped off to the military in the Wolfen Kingdom for a life of service as punishment .
He also answered many questions about himself , but the type of pack he ran , there werent many wolves that had conglomerates like he did and that seemed to make his son curious .
He asked why he had to have more than one pack ? Hed answered it with a simple Ive gone in and helped many packs be relieved of their horrible Alphas and bringing all those wolves left there , into the main part of Lustrous Moon would see us be too noticeable to the humans , I also asked them what they wanted .
Im happy to have them come there , but I also offered for them to stay where they were , and put one or two of the former leadership of Lustrous .

To help maintain and run their pack as a subsidiary pack so it didnt have to be disbanded .
Most actually liked that idea .
No one really wants to leave their pack when theyre taken over , regardless of the reason for the takeover .
I give them all a choice , and so I have five smaller packs , all between 300 to 500 wolves , around the main pack .
Lustrous Moon is not small , 2000 in the main pack and nearly 2000 out there in the subsidiary packs .
Each of those packs also have businesses to run and wolves to train .
Im quite busy , but I go to the other packs once a week for a full day to do training and check on things , see if anyone needs anything , though they are all allowed to email me or my unit with requests .
Or send it via the elder that is in charge of that part of the pack for me .
How many businesses are there ? Whitney had asked him .
Hmm , currently about 100 all up most are small , but six of them are quite large the main business of those other packs as well as Lustre Inc.
Thats my business , fashion and photography , he smiled .
And I have one currently growing rapidly within a subsidiary pack , was the main business of that pack before I took over , A landscaping company that has branched out under the guidance of Elder Leona .
Shes an avid golfer , reinvented herself as her granddaughter and was a pro golfer on the womens circuit , he chuckled a little , Building her own golf courses now , and its taken off .
He did like that Whitney asked a lot of questions about the packs business , though hed not once asked what it was like inside the pack .
Kept everything to the business side of things over the past 214 +8 Points 79 six months Today , Whitney asked him not about the pack itself , but what it was like inside the pack and Parker smiled at him .
Hed never once pushed his son , or even asked him if he was curious about what it was like to live inside Lustrous Moon .
Because he wanted Whitney to be the one to come to him and ask questions on his own ; when he was ready .
It had taken a long time for him to do so , and Parker was happy that his son was finally taking what he hoped was a step towards knowing what would be his one day .
It was a lively place with many activities .
He sponsored the local universitys sporting program and that pack itself was on the north side of the Carl Blackwell Lake .
The packhouse was very large and there was a lot of greenery on it , though it was not in a mountainous area as this pack was , it was on a relatively flat piece of land and there were a lot of humans nearby , so they could be seen on some of the trails that meandered through the edge of the pack .
He didnt deter them and occasionally , during the festivals , they wandered on into the pack itself , to the shopping district , and the pack held markets every third Sunday at the lake alongside the humans .
The pack gates were generally open to the human world during those events and some of his own wolves would direct them into the pack to check it out or have dinner at one of the restaurants or cafés .
You let humans inside the pack ? had come from him .
Though only on weekends when I am there , he nodded .
Your mother , I believe , has delivered a few unexpected human babies as well when she was there .
We dont discriminate if someone goes into labour and our hospital is the closest ; A human ambulance can bring them to us .
We just send them back after the baby is born .
Parker had smiled at that thought .
What makes you happy about that ? Whitney had asked .
Hmm , I believe it was your mother that started that .
After rushing off to deliver a baby to a human woman during a festival , she was having lunch with her family in our steakhouse and was never going to make it to the human hospital .
She put it to me that we should open our hospital to the humans .
Though I didnt want to do that , were not an ED , she convinced me to do so for pregnant women in labour .
He chuckled softly .
Put a proposal on my desk one day , I read it and I agreed , its her calling , and I wasnt about to say no to her doing something she enjoyed .
We actually have a deal with the local ambulance service about it , are considered to the human world , a private maternity hospital , that will take emergency cases .

He smiled and pointed to Belladonna running across the pack in a pair of yellow and white scrubs as they spoke , even Whitney laughed as they all looked at her .
