Olivia sat on the bench in the park, adjusting the scarf and the glasses she had used to disguise her identity
It had been a week since she had sent out her ‘Save the date cards‘

Everyone was buzzing at the wedding which was supposed to be the wedding of the century and all she could think of was the anonymous note she had received earlier
When she had finished her rounds, she was so tired that she was happy to get back to her office
On approaching her table, she noticed a parcel wrapped on the table with a note on it “Do not try to reach me, keep this close to you at all times. I will reach you at the right time”
She was so confused, what on earth did that note mean and who on earth sent it
When she unwrapped the package, she saw a burner phone inside
Olivia was stunned, she had seen these phones back when she was studying abroad
But why would someone send her a burner phone? She wondered
She put the phone in her lower drawer, her pager beeping for an emergency.
ONE WEEK LATER**
While working on a diagnosis, Olivia heard a beeping sound. She began searching for the source of the sound and realized it came from the burner phone.
She had forgotten all about the phone. Flipping the phone open, she noticed a few messages had been sent in it.
The sender was a private number, and she knew that no matter how much she tried to find the sender, the sender was probably also using a burner phone
“Do you want to know what Bryan did?” The message asked
Olivia’s heart skipped a bit, her head turning around wildly to see if she was being watched but she was the only person in her
office
“Yes” She typed out a short answer and sent it, dropping the phone while waiting for a reply, unable to focus on the work she was doing anymore
After a few minutes, another beeping sound signaling an incoming message rang
Olivia quickly grabbed the phone and opened the message
“Meet me at Redmond Park at 7:00 am tomorrow morning. Come alone, make sure you are not being followed and I will give you proof”
She felt chills cascade through her body. There was no possible way that she was going to meet someone she did not know
The sender of the message could as well be a psychopath or it could be a trap
As she sat on the bench in the park, she did not remember changing her mind

Chapter 74
She just had to get the proof that she needed against Bryan no matter what it took.
Olivia looked at her wristwatch, the time read a minute to ten
She had purposely gotten here earlier to scout the area before the person came so that she would be prepared if it turned out to be a psychopath or something of that sort
After waiting for thirty minutes Olivia stood up to leave.
The person had not come, she felt so stupid that she had hoped it was something real, it was probably a prank and she had fallen
for it
When she stood up, she noticed a black parcel on the bench just behind her
That had not been there when she came earlier; how on earth had this gotten here? She thought
About to leave it there and walk away, she noticed a note just beneath the parcel
“Here is the proof I promised you, but in return, keep this to yourself, no police, no Ethan till I tell you to, or else Noah would be the next victim of the actions in this video”
She hurriedly grabbed the parcel and ran away, getting into her car and driving off immediately
In a hurry, she did not notice the dark–clothed figure watching her from a distance.
Olivia grabbed her laptop, and connecting to her headset, she put in the flash that was in the parcel she had gotten earlier
She pressed play on the video, at first it was dark and Olivia wondered what she was watching till she heard Bryan’s voice in the background
The video brightened and she saw Bryan standing over Ethan’s father, with his hands around his neck strangling him
She gasped in shock, tears rolling down her face
“Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my God” she let out a whisper over and over, rocking her knees as she watched Bryan kill Ethan’s father
The audio went off and the video continued playing. She could not understand what Bryan was saying but all she needed to know was that she was getting married to a murderer
She had to get this to the police. She thought as she scrambled to her feet when she remembered the warning
“Noah will be the next victim,” Olivia murmured in a low voice
“No, no, that can’t happen ”
Immediately, Bryan walked in, surprising Olivia, and her grip slipped on the laptop, shattering it in the process.
“Whoa, is everything okay?” Bryan asked, taking in her tear–stricken face
“Uhm. Yes yes” Olivia said, her whole body shaking in fear
As Bryan walked towards her, it took everything in her not to take steps away from him.

“Olivia, what is wrong? Why are you crying?” Bryan asked with his arm around her
“What were you watching?” He pressed on
“Nothing nothing…a movie, a really sad horror one” Olivia stuttered,
“Are you sure?”
“Yes” She sniffed and shifted awful from Bryan

“I need to use the toilet,” Olivia quickly muttered, grabbed her laptop along with the flash, and walked out of the room hurriedly.
She dropped the laptop on the table and rushed into the toilet, holding the flash so tightly that it left imprints in her palm
She slid down the bathroom wall and sat on the floor, crying into her palms. She had suspected it but seeing it made it even more real than she had thought
He was a murderer and she was so scared about her reality of getting married to a murderer.
