The video playing on Ethan’s screen chilled him to the core. He watched as Bryan strangled his father to death and rage coursed through him as he watched his father breathe his last under Bryan’s hands

He grabbed the flash to take it to the police when he remembered the warning that was attached to the video. His children’s lives were at risk if he did that
Ethan was not one to get frightened by petty threats like that, but the fact that it concerned Eva and Noah, he could not take any

He had no choice but to follow the warning of the sender
Ethan had arrived at work to find the flash on his table with another saying to play and nothing more
Even after scouring the CCTV footage to find the identity of the sender, he could not find anything
The person who had dropped the flash drive on his table had been dressed in a black hoodie and black mask, all the person’s features had been obscured so there was no way to tell who it was
The question running through his mind was why the person wanted him to have this video right now
He picked up the ‘Save the date‘ invitation on the table. The card was elegant and the inscription was the same
“Bryollie ’25” What a beautiful name, Ethan thought with a scoff
Bryan and Olivia had been engaged for a year or so now, so it was not really a surprise that they would decide to get married
The engagement ceremony was to take place in a month.
Ethan could feel anger and jealousy coursing through him. He had not imagined that Olivia would go ahead to marry Bryan
At least, a part of him had thought that she would cancel their engagement and what they shared would blossom
But he had fucked it all up by bringing Shirley back into their lives, losing her for good in the process
If he tried to explain to her that he was still in love with her, was there a chance that she would call off the wedding
Maybe if he showed her the video, she would definitely change her mind. There was no possible way that she would go ahead to marry his father’s murderer, especially because his father had treated her like his real daughter.
After his long period of thought, he picked up his phone and instantly sent a hasty text message to Olivia

Immediately, a very familiar video began playing on the screen and she gasped
How on earth had Ethan gotten his hands on this video
“How did you get this? What is this?” Olivia asked, tears brimming in her eyes
“It’s the reason why you shouldn’t get married to that piece of shit,” Ethan said in anger
“What?!”
“He is a fucking murderer, you cannot get married to him. If he can kill my father in cold blood, he can definitely hurt you” Ethan explained
“How..how did you get this?” Olivia asked in a shaky voice, ignoring his worry about whether Bryan would hurt her or not.
“That is not important, what is important right now is that you need to call off that wedding”
“Why?” She asked in a calm voice, putting all her efforts into schooling her features as it seemed she was not the only one to have gotten that video
Who on earth was this person and what was he planning
Why would he send a video to Ethan after warning her not to say a word to Ethan or cancel the wedding or Noah would get hurt
She wanted to tell Ethan that she knew, that she had received a similar flash, too; she wanted to tell him that she did not want to get married to a monster like Bryan, but she could not risk it.
Olivia had no idea who this person was and whether the person was being helpful or ruining things, but she just had to play along because the stakes that were set were just too high
“Are you really asking me that? Did you not see what I just showed you, what else do you need?” Ethan said in frustration
“This video could be fake, these days people can make anything with Al really, it could just be a ploy to unsettle you”
“What?!” Ethan half yelled in surprise
He had not expected this reaction from Olivia, in fact, he was shocked to the core that Olivia had acted as if she did not care one bit
“Is that why I should not get married to Bryan? It is not substantial enough…”
“Substantial? You call a video of Bryan killing my father not substantial?” Ethan scoffed in disbelief

I sent you an invitation, you can come or you can refuse to come ” Olivia said in a breath while Ethan stared at her in disbelief
“Who are you?‘
He murmured and rose to his feet, storming out afterwards.
“Olivia met up with Mr. Ethan today, and they had a long conversation which ended in an argument” Bryan’s assistant reported to him and he rubbed his chin in thought
What was going through Olivia’s head, why on earth was she meeting up with Ethan when they were going to get married
Did she plan on running away with him? Bryan questioned
“I need intel on Olivia, all her activities for the past few weeks, bring me everything!” He ordered
One hour later, his secretary walked him, handing him all the information he had ordered on Olivia, and when his eyes scanned through it, he widened them in shock,
“What the hell is this? How?” He yelled without his gaze leaving the papers for even a second.
