Chapter 6
That was the last photo of Olivia and Erhan together. Non that these photos had them acting all lovey dovey towards earh ochry, but they still meant so much to Olivia and the couldn’t deny that
Most of them were from work, and others were photos they took together at events. Some others were unaware phonon the had managed to take of him during two years of their lives, and other photos included the days then acted like a loving husted you for the sake of his father
Even though ther photos weren’t supposed to mean anything, they still did, but Olivia was ready to let them all go. She never thought this day would come. A day where she would have to give up on her marriage like her mother did years ago.
A tear fell from her eyes and landed on the screen of the phone she was holding
Today was the first time in so many years that she couldn’t make it to her mother’s anniversary, and it was all to protect the baby growing inside of her,
Im sorry Mom, I’m so sorry I have to say goodbye in this way” Olivia muttered to herself, biting her lower lips in pain as more tears rolled down her eyes.
She was leaving all her peut behind. Leaving the man she had loved for so many years. After all these years, Olivia was just
All her life was too concentrated on Ethan that she could remember one thing she had done to make herself happy.
Every step she had taken and the things she had done in the past were all to make him happy, but it seemed they were never enough to win his heart
As the phone took off, the relaxed in her seat and shut her eyes after tucking her phone bag into her bag

“Me you do have lovely hands. Are you a surgeon?” A middle–aged lady seated next to Olivia questioned, but she shook

Once again, she had been reminded about her past and the wrong decision she took. If only she had listened to her mother and never given up on her dreams to become a famous surgeon
Her mother had died from stomach cancer She must have denied it countless times, but Olivia knew that her mother earnestly prayed day and night that her father would come to see her at the hospital during her final days, but he never
He had abandoned her at the hospital because he was too busy with his mistress. The pains were so fresh, but she swallowed

She had been a fool to allow that kind of life for herself these past years. Because of her marriage to Ethan, she couldn’t pursue her dreams of becoming a famous surgeon since the Fordham Grand Tech corporation was always her priority after their marriage.

Chapter 6
She had invested so much in the company even forgetting her dreams, but not anymore. Australia would change everything.

As the plane landed, the woman who was seated close to her stood up first, and when Olivia did the same, she called the woman’s attention almost immediately,
“You’re right, I’m a surgeon. Not now, but I have what it takes to be a great surgeon. I’m not giving up again.” The confidence in her eyes made the woman smile and nod her head,
“That’s great.” She responded, and began walking away with her bag swinging firmly in her hand,
Olivia let out a deep breath and also began to walk away. She brought her phone out of her bag so she could dial Stella’s number but after the third ring, there was no response.
Stella was supposed to meet up with her at the airport, but there was no sign of Stella anywhere and it was beginning to make her new.
Australia was a big place, a place she had never been to before and so she had no idea where to go.
Maybe Stella was busy with something else; there was no way she would ignore her calls. Olivia thought. She tucked her phone back into her bag and continued to walk until she stood by the roadside to get a cab after a few hours,
“Any hotel close by please.”
The driver nodded his head, understanding that she might probably be new here else she would have told him the hotel she wanted to go to. This was a good reason to charge her way past the normal price.
About 30 minutes later, the cab halted. Had it not been for the long line of cars along the way, they would have gotten here faster.
Olivia stepped out of the car, and tucked her hand into her back to get some dollar notes,
“Excuse me; you’d have to add more to this, ma’am.”
The middle–aged driver uttered, but Olivia simply let out a sigh and brought out a few more bills from her bag.
Once she handed it to him, she kept her bag across her shoulders and began to walk back to the hotel.
As Olivia got to the hotel counter, she requested a room, but the moment she opened her purse, the first thing her eyes met was Ethan’s black card.
“Oh my goodness!” Olivia exclaimed as she pulled it out of her bag. Her card was in there too, but she was certain that she had been making use of Ethan’s card the entire time.
What if he knew where she was?
“Are you going to pay Ms?” One of the attendants questioned while Olivia was still lost in thought and she immediately snapped out of her thoughts,
“Oh yes, I am.” She immediately tucked the card back into her purse and brought out her own,
The lady swiped the card and once the payment was made, Olivia was handed a green card,
“Take your left after you get to the fifth floor, you’ll see room 512 over there.”
Olivia nodded her head and began to walk away. Once she got to the entrance, she gently swiped the card and was given

She walked into the room and headed straight for the bed, then, something crossed her mind.

The first thought Olivia had was what she had seen a few hours ago at the airport. Everything kept playing so fresh in her memories not just because she wanted to remember it, but because that pitiful young man reminded her of herself.
Every other passerby might not understand what was going on, but she did. She saw the young man watch his fiance hug and kiss another man at the airport.
It wasn’t so hard to figure out the lady in the red skimpy dress was his fiancee because when Olivia looked at her finger, she saw an engagement ring, and the man was holding a bouquet while staring at her.
“So much for love,” Olivia muttered to herself and rose to her feet. If only the man would take the same bold step she took and walk away from his cheating fiance forever, maybe he would be able to find a little peace even though it would hurt like hell.
Olivia began taking off her clothes. Once she was done, she headed towards the bathroom so she could freshen up and think of her next step in Australia.
About 30 minutes later when she stepped out, her phone began ringing. She picked it up and saw it was Stella calling,
“Finally,” Olivia muttered to herself as she picked up the call, but then she heard Stella’s voice even before she could say a word.
“Olivia, I’m so so so so sorry; tell me where you are, and I’ll come to get you as soon as possible!.”
