“What? How come you didn’t tell me on time, Stella.” Olivia half yelled behind Stella as they walked,
“Because I had no idea. It turns out she just came back from New York two days ago, and it’s unexpected. We thought she was going to miss out on this one.” Stella responded while Olivia took in a deep breath.
“If you think about it, it’s even better, Olivia. Trust me, you’ll do great.” Stella said.
When they both got in, Olivia let out a small gasp as she stared at the designs and the lights around the living room. It was nothing like she had ever seen before,
“This is…”
“Extremely beautiful? I know. Dave and I took a lot of time to plan this. They’ve been friends for so many years, so Bryan’s just like a brother to him.”
Thank God he has someone like Dave,” Olivia responded,
The party would start flooding in with people in a few minutes, Olivia. I need to get you a room first. Come on, let’s go.”
Olivia continued to trail behind Stella, and when they got to a room, Stella opened the door so she could step in,
“Bryan will be here soon. I’ll come get you when he’s here so just relax. Ring the bell if you need anything, the maids are available.” Stella said and began to walk out of the room. Once the door was shut, Olivia exhaled deeply and took her seat on the bed,
Her gaze dropped down to her legs, and she chuckled at herself staring at the beautiful black heels on her legs,
All of this just to talk to a stranger. A stranger that might or might not help her. Suddenly, the nervousness began to build in once again, making Olivia clear her throat so she could swallow in a lump of saliva down her throat,
The room was getting hotter, too, even with the Air conditioner turned on. Just the thought of meeting two important people tonight made Olivia’s nervousness even more intense than it was before she stepped in here,
What was she supposed to say to them?
She stared at her wristwatch only to realize that it was just 15 minutes ago Stella stepped out of the room, meaning there was about an hour or more till the party starts.
About an hour later, a knock was rasped on the door, and when Olivia opened it, a young lady smiled at her,
“He’s your water ma’am. Ms Stella said to inform you she’ll be here to get you ready in a few minutes.”
Olivia smiled back and nodded her head, then she collected the small golden tray from the lady.
“Thank you so much.” She uttered and shut the door afterward,
Dropping the tray on the small table close to the bed, Olivia poured herself a glass of water and immediately gulped down the entire content. It was almost time for the party to start. When she had opened the door earlier, she could hear the loud sound of music coming from downstairs
Who knows, Bryan might as well be around already, but she had no clue Taking her seat back on the bed after emptying the glass of water, Olivia brought out her phone so she could search for something.
She had no clue who Bryan Miller and his grandmother were She had never even seen a picture of them before and so if she was going to talk to them, she had to at least know what they both looked like,

At least if he was that famous in Australia, then there had to be so much about him on the Internet,

{Everything about Bryan Millers and his family) She typed down on her phone, but suddenly, there was this sharp pain in her stomach making Olivia rise to her feet,
It was immediately followed by the urge to vomit. Something was wrong. When the pain only became worse, Olivia let out a loud cry for help, crouching down to her knees as she held her stomach tight,
The water!
It had to be the water! She thought to herself as she stared at the empty glass still sitting on the table,
“S…. Stella…” Olivia cried out in pain as the pain only became worse,
What about the baby? Unfortunately, her phone was a bit far away from her and it was almost impossible to reach it in the condition she was in at the moment. Who the hell was trying to hurt her when she knew no one here?
First of all, Shirley crossed her mind, but she discarded it almost immediately,
Shirley had no idea where she was. When Olivia’s body finally dropped to the ground, her grip on her stomach tightened even more and her vision started to get blurry,
Fortunately, the door opened and an unknown person walked in.
“H… help m… me.” Her voice came out faintly as she watched the young man run up to where she was and immediately went down to his knees,
“Hey, hey, are you okay? W… what’s wrong? Hey, look at me, you cannot die here.” He half yelled, raising her head, and heard a faint mutter from Olivia,
“W…water…”
Immediately after Olivia said this, the man raised his gaze toward the table and found the glass on the table. In a hurry, he rushed towards the table, grabbed the empty glass and stared into it,
There was nothing in it. For a second his gaze averted to Olivia again, and he brought his nose closer to the glass to take a sniff,
It had a strange smell. Something a little familiar, and the moment he was able to guess, he rushed towards Olivia again,
“Poison! You’ve been poisoned. We need to get you to a hospital right now.” That was the last thing Olivia heard before she finally shut her eyes and slid into darkness,
