Jessica
“Hi, baby. Did you miss me?”

I glare back, not knowing what to feel with Grayson sitting in Kirill’s office. My mate. Here. In his chair.
“What the hell are you doing here?”
“You don’t miss me?” He muses, leaning back into the chair. His gaze slides to Cid behind me and he instantly scowls. “Don’t you fucking dare, Jess.”
Stupid possessive asshole.
If Kirill and Cid weren’t looking, I’d probably jump Grayson’s bone right now and moan his name. My body remembers him even when my mind wants to forget. But none of this makes sense. Why is he here? How is he even allowed here?
“You told me you don’t allow visitors,” I hiss, folding my arms tight against my chest.
I tear my gaze off Grayson and turn to Kirill, voice sharp. “You told me you don’t allow visitors.”
“A thank you is sufficient, Jessica.”
My mouth drops. “Thank you? For what? For letting my mate waltz in here like this?”
“For not tearing his throat out the moment he sat in my chair.”
Grayson chuckles, low and mocking. “You’d have to get through me first.”
I glance between them, pulse hammering. “Stop it. Both of you.”
Kirill’s gaze stays locked on Grayson. “This is my office. My pack. You don’t set foot here without consequence.”
Grayson leans back in the chair like he owns it. “And yet, here I am. Sitting. Breathing. Talking to her.” His eyes flick to me. “Funny how that works, isn’t it?”
Whatever mind games Grayson is trying to play, I won’t have it. I stride forward, grab Grayson’s hands off the armrests, and squeeze tight until his cocky grin falters. Then I look straight at Kirill.
“I’m taking him to my room.”
His gaze drifts from me to Grayson like I’m barely worth acknowledging.
“And she has to ask,” Kirill says almost as if he’s insulting me. Right here. Right now. “Go. Make sure you hold
your moan.”
Heat rushes up my neck, fury and shame twisting in my chest. I don’t give a fuck about his words so I pull

The door slams behind us. My pulse is wild, my hand still locked in Grayson’s. He doesn’t complain. He doesn’t resist. He just watches me with that stupid satisfied grin.
“Good girl,” he proudly says.
1 stop dead in the hall, eyes shooting knives to him. “You look so cocky for someone who doesn’t follow our plan.”
His brow arches, amused. “Plan?”
“Yes, plan,” I bite out. “The one where you don’t barge into Kirill’s office and nearly get yourself killed.” He steps closer, crowding me against the wall.

“You’re unbelievable,” I snap, voice rising. “Arrogant. Reckless. Always thinking with your ego instead of brain. You don’t get to show up here, throw everything into chaos, and smirk like you’ve won. You’re not some hero, Grayson – you’re just a stupid, possessive bastard who can’t follow a single rule!”
He tilts his head, still maddeningly calm.
“And stop looking at me like that!” I spit, anger tripping over my tongue. “Why are you here? Where’s Kade-”
I choke on the name as his lips claim mine, rough and urgent, silencing me in an instant.
“You talk too much,” he growls against my mouth, each word brushing hot over my lips. His teeth graze me before he pulls back just enough to meet my eyes, pupils blown wide. “Where’s your room?”
“You’re insane if you think I’m dragging you into my room like—”
He kisses me again, deeper, swallowing the fight out of me one shaky breath at a time. “WHERE.CAN.I. FUCK. YOU?”
Grayson breaks the kiss just enough to whisper against my lips, his voice dark and shredded with want:
“Where, Jess?” Another kiss, harder. “Where can I have you?” Another, slower, teeth grazing my bottom lip. “Tell me… where I can fuck you.”
“Let’s go,” I breathe, the words slipping out before my pride can stop them.
He chuckles, deep and smug, as I grab his hand and drag him toward my room.
“Look at you,” he teases, voice low at my ear. “Couldn’t wait, could you?”
“Shut up,” I hiss, though the heat in my cheeks betrays me.
I quicken my pace, desperate to shut him up with the door slamming behind us, but he tugs back, slowing me down.
“Grayson-” I snap, spinning on him.

He’s already leaning in, grin sharp, eyes bunning. I’ve missed you.”
“Relax,” I scoff, though my voice comes out breathless. “You act like you’re starving”
His gaze drags over me like a hand. “I am.
Before I can roll my eyes, he yanks me flush against him, hips hard against mine, his mouth devouring me like he hasn’t tasted anything in weeks. The kiss is messy, wet, teeth clashing, his hands already shoving under my shirt like the street itself doesn’t matter.
1 gasp into his mouth, fingers fisting in his hair, trying to keep my balance as he presses me back against the wall.
“Door,” I manage to choke out.
“Fuck the door,” he growls, grinding into me, lips bruising mine. “I’ll take you right here”
“No, door,” I pant, shoving at his chest. “Grayson-“I try again, but he doesn’t give me the chance.
In one swift move he hooks an arm under my thighs, hauling me off the wall like I weigh nothing, I squeal, smacking his shoulder, but he only laughs, dark and guttural, striding toward the door with me clinging helplessly around his neck.
By the time my back hits the wood, his mouth is already on mine again, his free hand fumbling for the knob. He finds it, twists, and suddenly we’re stumbling inside.
My breath tears from my lungs. “You’re insane.”
“Insane for you,” he growls, lips trailing down my throat, not giving me a second to think. “Now shut before I lose what little patience I have left.”

“Grayson-” I try, but it melts into a gasp as his thigh wedges between mine, grinding me where I’m already pulsing.
“Bed,” I choke out, trying to push at him. “We need–the bed-”
He just laughs against my mouth, low and filthy, rolling his hips into me. “We don’t need shit.”
My hands claw at his shoulders, torn between shoving him back and dragging him closer. He doesn’t give me the choice. In one hard motion, he grabs my ass, lifts, and I’m airborne, legs locking around his waist.
“Grayson!” I squeal, but he swallows it with another bruising kiss, carrying me across the room like I weigh nothing.
The next thing I know, my back hits the mattress, his weight pressing me down, his smirk hovering inches above my lips.
“There,” he pants, eyes wild. “Happy now?”
I glare at him, chest heaving. “Ask me that after I can walk again.”
