Chapter 215
GRAYSON
I’m going to fuck her until she can’t walk.
Maybe I’ll tie her up to remind her she belongs to me. There are a lot of thoughts going on in my head as soon as Jessica disappears from my sight.
The thought bites at the back of my skull – ugly, delicious. I swallow it and reshape it.
If I can’t take her by force, I’ll make it so she can’t imagine life without me. I’ll tighten his leash, stitch her days with me, isolate her until the idea of leaving is harder than staying.
That’s how I’ll win.
That’s how I own her.
However, Jessica is not really my Jessica anymore. She’s not my weak omega anyone and she manages to lift herself from that position.
I am a very secure man.
I do not have any insecurities in my body. Even when I saw her kissing Riot on that fucking lake before when I thought I lost her, I did not lose my mind.
I’ve always respected her.
I always have my respect for her but her being in this place makes me very sensitive. I don’t like the idea of sharing her with others.
Of anyone else touching her. Of anyone else being her.
She’s mine. And while I will never be a fool to show weakness.
“Pierce is out with Riot to dominate the other packs,” Kirill said, shaking hands with Kade. The pack of alphas made it an oath to not deal with anyone but ourselves.
We’re exclusives. Until we’re not.
“I hope this is the start of our alliance, Kade.” Kirill muttered, sipping his drink. “After all, you sent Grayson here to be your spy.”
He wasn’t wrong.
Two weeks ago, I’d aimed to slip a knife into the Triad’s ribs using Jessica.
But that was before the other alphas began to whisper. Before they began to doubt me.
Déjà vu.

Chapter 215
Same game, different board.
A three–man dance again, like it was with Theo.
Only this time, the stakes are heavier.
The wolves hungrier.
:
And the girl in the middle isn’t naïve enough to think she’s not being played.
Kirill set down his glass and leaned forward, elbows on his knees. “So tell me, Kade. What is our move? Jessica is getting strong but she’s not letting her wolf control her.”
My jaw clenched. “Do not lose my girl, Kirill. We don’t want the wolf to control her. We want her to control the wolf. Not the other way around.”
“Control the wolf… easier said than done. She’s stubborn, cunning. You can’t cage her mind like you can a body.”
“I don’t need to cage her mind,” I said. “I need her to choose me every time the wolf rages, every time her instincts scream at her. That’s the only leash that matters.”
Kade leaned back, swirling the dark liquid in his glass. “And what if she chooses someone else at the moment? Kirill, for example?”
My teeth ground together. “That won’t happen. Again. It’s a mistake I told her that fucking lie.”
Normally, I will kill anyone who thinks they can have her but the stakes are higher than my possessions. Kirill told me to play that part.
“You bet her to Cid and shamefully lose.”
I smirk, drowning myself with my drinks. “And look what we fucking achieved.”
Jessica is confused. Her wolf is startled. She’s going to feel every heat and sensations I’m going to give her, feed her, until she’s out of her mind and depends on me.
We would test, we would train, we would carve her into a force that answered to us.
That was the plan.
That was the ownership I could live with.
It hurts. It will always hurt to shape her like this. But pain and protection are twin knives in my hands have never been gentler with what I love.
“Come on,” I said, “You really don’t think I’ll share my girl?”
Not in this lifetime.

and I
Kade chuckles, and I loved to tear his eyeballs out. He was the one who made the plan with Kirill and now we

“She’s seeing Cid’s sister. Our pack doctor,” Kirill mentioned after some time. “I think they are trying to communicate with her wolf.”
“And did she succeed?” I asked.
Kirill shook his head a fraction. “Not completely. She passed out, I think.”
Passed out?
My brows furrowed at the lack of assurance on his words.
“You think or you know?”
He just shrugs. “I know she collapsed. I don’t know what she saw before she did. Cid’s sister said the wolf rose, then recoiled. It’s unpredictable.”
Unpredictable.
“She’s not a test subject. She’s my mate. I want answers, not your guesses.”
Kirill’s eyes flicked up, glinting with a humorless smirk. “Not a test subject. Really? Is that still what you think after everything that we’re planning?”
“What does that even mean?”
Kirill and Kade look at each other, shaking their heads like some fucked up bastards. Kade is the one who shifted on his position and looked me in the eye.
“She’s a test subject, Grayson,” he muttered, emphasizing every word. “That’s what you signed up for when you made this deal.”
“SHE IS.NOT.”
His eyes mark on me and I wish I could read his thoughts like the Triad’s ability. But I wouldn’t. I don’t want to learn what is behind those eyes.
“She is,” he muttered. “Whether you like it or not, she’s going to rank up in this place and when she does, all you will do is clap for her.”
The room went silent after that.
I’m no coward. I’m no insecure man. But Kade was damn right.
Jessica is getting stronger. Sharper. More cunning. And she is whoever she believes she is.
Just weeks away from discovering it fully. Weeks away from realizing, for the first time in her life, that she might not need me–or anyone–to hold her.
And for the first time in my life… I’m terrified.
