Chapter 129
When Zina returned to the Lambert Villa, everything seemed peaceful, as if nothing had happened. She stepped into the living room and immediately saw Yvonne sitting there, waiting for her.
Yvonne was elegantly seated on the sofa, her gaze calm, eyes focused on the cup in front of her. She sighed softly.
Noticing the footsteps, Yvonne suddenly looked up, meeting Zina’s gaze. For a moment, their eyes locked, but Yvonne looked away first. “Well, have you checked your phone?” Yvonne hesitated, then asked.
Zina blinked in surprise, not quite understanding what was going on. She instinctively pulled out her phone and checked it.
Only then did she realize that, while she had been focused on fighting, someone had already posted photos of her and Kellan together. The photos were now trending on social media.
Zina gave a wry smile. “Seriously? What’s so special about that? People are actually talking about it…”

Zina struggled with calling Richard “Dad.” She couldn’t bring herself to say it, but calling him “Mr. Lambert” felt too distant. In the end, she just gave a casual excuse and let it slide.
Kellan watched Zina suspiciously for a moment before setting down the gift box. But he didn’t put everything down. He carefully held one box and walked over to Yvonne.
Under Yvonne’s astonished gaze, Kellan knelt down slightly and opened a delicate box. Inside was an exquisitely designed pearl necklace.
Yvonne looked at him in confusion, unable to figure out what he was trying to do.
Kellan said, “Mrs. Lambert, I came a bit hastily and didn’t have time to prepare something special, so I brought this instead. I hope you don’t mind.
“If I remember correctly you once won a nearl bronch at a charity vala. I thought this necklace would pair
