2/4 He found his mouth snapped shut so he couldnt even speak , and he was made to stand there and watch but unable to do anything about what he was seeing .
He watched as Selena , their own Goddess , the one they all prayed to and were created by , started to pull Freya from Belladonnas body .
Her own wolf that had ripped herself from their Moon Goddess , and bound herself willingly to another , something he didnt think Selena was overly happy with .
A long stream of brilliant white mist was pulled from Belladonnas body and pooled in the air above her body , forming a large white sphere then a wolf began to form inside of it .
He had to stand there , unable to move as he watched Belladonnas body arch up and writhe about , hear her gasp in pain and then cry out .
He wanted to yell at Selena to stop , that it was killing her , as he saw blood trickling and then flowing from her mouth .
Selena stood up and put her hands on the sphere of light and the wolf within snarled at her .
It didnt appear to him that Freya wanted to be pulled from Belladonnas body .
There was still one thin thread from that sphere to Belladonna .
It wouldnt snap when she pulled on the sphere .
Selena huffed and shook her head , then grabbed that sphere with her wolf inside it , and turned and thrust it away from her in a hard sharp motion .
Snapping a hand out to Belladonnas body as it lifted into the air , and her hand connected with Belladonnas chest where the white thread still clung to her , as her body tried to follow the sphere , and both of them went flying in different directions .
His eyes widened as he saw blood spraying from her mouth and his heart raced inside his chest as he heard the cracking of bones .
He tried to shoot off the mark to get to her .
Both he and Vex , trying with all they had to catch her , but they were still bound to the place Selena held them to .
They couldnt snatch her from the air and stop her from being further injured even though it was what they wanted .
Their own Goddess was killing Belladonna in order to retrieve her own wolf .
His eyes were on her .
She didnt hit any trees out here , she didnt go smashing onto the ground and roll over to land in a crumpled heap .
Kind of just stopped after the tether between herself and Freya was snapped and floated there lifelessly in the air , before floating down to the ground gently .

His eyes moved from Belladonna to Selena at those words , and there , standing next to the moon Goddess was her wolf , with twin moons for iriss she was pure white and kind of hard to < 104 look at , but power could be felt coming off of her as much as Selena herself .

Freyas fur started to turn black as Selenas hair turned white .
Freya was so dark in colour that she could barely be seen at all , almost as if shed vanished .
She was a colour that was very hard to see because she was as black as the void of space .
When he tilted his head , he could kind of see her , and then not , almost as if Freya was in his peripheral vision only , and he couldnt actually focus upon her , only seen indirectly .
It was as if Freya was now the night sky and Selena was the moon .
Whereas when hed first seen them , everything about Selena had been the night sky and Freya like the moon .
Their appearance changed right before him and he wondered what they would look like if they were together as one .
A portal appeared behind them and Selena turned and walked away into it .
Her wolf , Freya with her .
She was easily seen in that realm with the moon glow all around her .
She was a midnight wolf not visible in this realm because she didnt belong to it .
She belonged in the night realm with their Goddess .
The portal closed , and he was finally released from his immobility and felt his entire pack come back to him as they too , all woke up .
He was released from her will , and he was on the move the moment he was able to move , raced over to Belladonna even as he heard Shannon ask in a groggy manner , What happened ? Belladonna was just laying there on the ground lifeless before him , not breathing and though he could hear her heat beating erratically , there was deep bruising spreading across her chest when he checked the wound shed gotten from their own moon goddess .
Panic was starting to fill not only him but Vex , as they tuned their hearing to her, and they could hear it , blood flowing freely within her body .
She was bleeding internally , and he understood Selenas words .
Belladonnas survival was on him now .
