He stood there and watched as she was intubated and connected to an ambu bag and one of the nurses was using it to get oxygen into Belladonna .
ECG leads were being attached to her as Annette used an ultrasound machine to look and see what was going on within her chest .

He stood out in the hallway and looked down at himself , his hands were covered in Belladonnas blood and there was some of it on his shirt sleeve from where hed carried her .
It had taken less than five minutes for Annette to send him out of that surgical bay .
He mind linked to Kane about Whit and Milly even though he knew Shannon had headed off in that direction , Whit and Milly were going to freak out completely and need him .

Feeling the thoughts of Belladonna actually dying on that operating table , he saw a nurse coming , rushing through the outer room with blood bags , and she looked at him worriedly .

The bed came to a halt in the corridor of wards The Luna Suite .

It was where she belonged , regardless of the fact that they were rejected mates and not bound to each other anymore .
