She didnt want to leave the pack just in case something happened to Bridgit .

Parker thought about that as he walked from the dining hall .
She was going off to call Aston and Mala , and had headed up to her suite with Milly , and hed waved Whit off to go play with his friends , that he could go and play for a few hours first before shopping .
To come back at 9am so they could leave for their day of shopping .

Was it completely necessary for Belladonna to never leave the pack at all ? In order for that ability of hers to work ? He didnt really like the idea of her being stuck inside the pack all the time .
He did want her to be here , but also wanted her to know she had the freedom to come and go as she pleased , head out of the pack anytime she liked to go shopping or have lunch in the city .
He knew shed never left the pack at all while theyd been mated to each other , and he now wondered if it was Freya just keeping her there inside the pack , so nothing would happen to the she wolves ; so there wouldnt be any miscarriages … Surely , he could take her to the city for dinner , or to the ballet or theater , an art gallery or one of the states festivals .
It was itching his brain now .
He didnt think it should be taken literally , that she had to be inside the pack 100 % of the time , surely once they were mated to each other again , and she was initiated into the pack once more .

He was staring at nothing in particular , trying to figure it out when Annette connected herself to him about the birth of a pup that had been born , and shed sent the paperwork to him .

He pulled up the deaths and births records of his subsidiary packs for the entire time that Belladonna had been his Luna .

As he scrolled through the lists , there were none at all in any of his subsidiary packs either , He leaned back in his chair and stared at the numbers .
Numbers didnt lie , she didnt actually need to be there inside those parts of the pack , just being the Luna to them had seen the flow on effects of her ability spread to all the subsidiary packs .
In fact , hed not lost a single pup or she wolf until the day after shed severed from the pack itself .
He could see the numbers and the near instant loss of life starting across the subsidiary packs .

He thought about that .

So , by that logic , if Belladonna would allow herself to be initiated into the pack before the full moon , Bridgit would be alright and so would her pups .

I need Belladonna for like five minutes , he told them , and excused himself as he tugged her out of her suite and down the hall to his suite , pushed the door open and walked them inside it .

Sorry it just needs to be in private , he told her , realizing she looked a bit nervous to be in his suite .

I do actually have a few questions I need to ask you , that are not for others ears .

Belladonna , while you were in the Hollowed Moon , you never lost a pup , right ? Or the mother ? he asked her .

You did , though , at times , leave the pack to go away on vacation with Whit , right ? Yes , Parker , two or three times a year .
Why ? she nodded .
No miscarriages while you were away ? Off pack territory to be specific .
He asked wanting direct clarification .

How long would you be gone for ? he asked now , curious as to how long she could be away or if it didnt matter at all ? As long as she had the pack attachment .

I know you think you need to be here inside the pack 24/7 for Bridgit , but I dont actually think that is the case , or well , not as long as youre a pack member anyway .
