23 Belladonna She told herself , as they drove across the state line and left Oklahoma , and drove away from Parker or anyone inside his pack that might come across her and sensing out she was pregnant .
That she was doing the right thing , no child that was illegitimate should have to live the life she had .

Shed nodded to herself and took in several deep breaths , everything was going to be fine .
Her life was simply moving forward was all .
Finally , she could be who she wanted to be and if she told Parker , he would have her dragged back to that pack to have her give birth to that pup where he was , and her life would not be hers anymore .
She really did just want to move on from everything , and a few days of freedom was not enough for her , she want to live her life as she saw fit , not have someone else dictate it for her anymore .

Certainly wouldnt try and make them submit after that , even at 16 his pure blooded child would likely be stronger than he was .
Though that made her wonder if she should tell the child who their father was as well , would the child want to contact him before getting his wolf? Or not care at all ? Due to his father having a mate that wasnt her .
Bella already knew she would have to tell her child , shed been a chosen mate born of a mating alliance , and shed not gotten a say in it .
That his father now had a Goddess Gifted .
Would her child be curious about having any siblings ? They were going to have them , that was 1/4 23 +10 Point a given as far as Bella was concerned .
Their last conversation prior to him leaving , was him telling her a pup would be nice .
Hed wanted an heir for the last three years now , so hed likely be telling his new Mate that as well .
Most Alphas she knew had heirs by his age .
Then there was what if she found her Goddess Gifted Mate ? And he was happy to have her son or daughter bled to him , so they had a good loving parental bond ? Bleeding her child to another would effectively sever the kin bond with Parker completely , and hed never even know about his own child , not even if he walked into the same room as him .
Parker wouldnt consider the child as his own even if it was a boy and the spitting image of himself , because there would be no kin bond between him and the boy .
It would be considered a mere coincidence .
Unless , of course , she was standing right there next to the child , and then she could well imagine hed do the math instantly and ask questions .

She supposed she could still find a pack to affiliate with before her pup was born , though with every day that passed now , it was getting shorter .

Though she could well get this job , and be working for the Wolfen Council as of tomorrow , seeing as all her belongings were actually in the back of this very vehicle .
She could start work right away .
That thought made her smile , she was verging on becoming bored s ** t less in that hotel room .

She didnt mind , it gave her time to stretch her legs from her long drive .
Bella saw many young Alpha Heirs walking about , they all smelled her , understood she was a rogue , and she saw most of them look her over , and frown a little .
She just smiled and nodded at them ; they would also be able to tell she was alpha blooded like they themselves were .
Today she was wearing nice clothes , had packed a couple of those nice suits Parker had bought her and had opted to wear one , seeing as she was coming here for a job interview , was currently dressed in soft grey slacks and a pale blue blouse , she was also wearing light make up and though her hair was out , it was held back off her face by her sunglasses .
She knew she was pretty , not smoking hot but nice to look at .
She may smell like a rogue , but did not look like the ones they would have seen roaming around or defending their packs from , not mangey in anyway , well fed , clean and well dressed .
None of them interacted with her , just stared at her curiously , it kind of amused her ; she did know that rogues could do well for themselves , if they wanted to .

Bella saw two women walking this way , blinking a little shocked at all the alpha oaths they were covered in .
But she smiled and greeted them properly , bowed her head respectfully .
They introduced themselves as Alpha Gretta and Alpha Hailey .
Bella saw Haileys head tilt to the left a little and then her wolf pushed forward , and the red eyes of her pure blooded beast looked right at her , moved down over her body and focused on her abdomen .
Then it just receded after a few seconds , and she stated Gretta theres a tiny hiccup .
