24 Belladonna Bella sat in Alpha Grettas office and the three of them discussed the job offer first .

They would get to her circumstances after shed heard about what the job involved and see if she wanted it or not .

If she did want it , then they would talk about that pup and its father after that .

That was something to do with their own set of rules and laws , being that they were the Wolfen Council as well as running the Alpha College , and they had their own responsibilities to fulfill within the Wolfen Realm .

This job was for a minimum of a two year contract , and it was to work there inside the actual Alpha College .

Where she would not only tend to the Alpha Heirs that lived here , a constantly shifting number , where they had new arrivals and exits nearly every day of the year .

Those heirs at times got injured during training , or had to be dealt out punishments for breaking the colleges rules .

Some of those punishments , she was told , were lashings , and wolves going on shaming posts .

There were also accidental pregnancies , and more often than not , morning after pills were given out to the young ones .

Though most of the Alpha females here would be sent to her after arrival , for birth control if not already on it , they did try to minimise accidents happening , but young alpha wolves , were a horny bunch .

Both Gretta and Haily chuckled softly , they never stop fucking .

Bella sat there and shook her head , You know they can just wait until its born , and the father will connect instantly to the pup .

Ah , it gets rowdy at times , claws come out on occasion , the dumbasses forget where they are at times .

The father of the pup would be able to smell it from like two weeks into the she wolfs pregnancy .

Thats where the real fun starts , because lets say one of them wolves gets about real good and lets face it , they all do .

Cant claim yet due to the college rules around mate bonds , they have to wait until both parents are informed and here in the college to sort out mating alliance deals .

She was then informed that they also had a portal to the wolfen kingdom , and they had wolves , both male and female , here for wolfen trials at times , that was allocated to a building away from the actual college part of the grounds , and the students were banned from going over there .

It was where council ground investigations for horrid crimes were attended to , and that could mean beatings , lashings , generalised torturing of their own kind to get the answers that they needed .

If those wolves were resistant to being Alpha Ordered by even a pure blood .

Rogues could be difficult to question , especially if they were alpha blooded themselves .

That wolves often turned themselves rogue in order to avoid being Alpha ordered by them ; the 2/4 24 council that ruled over them all .

Stupidly created circumstances that meant they had to be tortured to get the answers , not always so bright .

Gretta shook her head .

So sometimes that meant they got broken bones that needed to be reset , and they all were cuffed with silver so any wounds sustained meant they needed to be tended to by a wolfen .

They also housed brutalized wolves , both male and female , young and old .

Those that had been rescued from the black market after being stolen , who were often still heavily drugged , some needed to be weened off the drug , and some were seriously injured .

They had a male wolfen doctor here , but needed a female once currently , due to some not wanting to be touched by a male .

Hence , the offer from them to her to work here .

Then there were those she wolves that came here to the wolfen council grounds asking for sanctuary , looking for help after fleeing from a sadistic Mate .

Some of them were pregnant or trailing children .

Some came fleeing war .

There were all manner of reasons why they house she wolves on council grounds .

All of those that were here currently werent in a good state , and looking for protection , looking to find a new pack somewhere safe for not just them but their unborn pup or children .

Investigations of claims had to be tended to properly , and assistance given , but medical care was usually needed in every instance , even if just for malnutrition or severe dehydration .

Bella sat and listened to it all .

There was it seemed a lot of work to be done here within the Wolfen Council grounds .

And they ran the Alpha College on top of all of that as well .

They were , it seemed , very busy trying to maintain the wolfen world here in the human realm .

She nodded to them both when they asked her if she was willing to take on the job , and stated simply Yes , I am happy to take the job , Ive not had a single day off in the past eight years , and am kind of at a bit of a loss right now .

Im not at all used to not being needed , whether it be in the hospital or the Lunas office .

Not one day off ? she was questioned right away .

No , unless I was in heat , I worked every single day .

And she had done , had never once had Parker tell her she could take the day off .

So was always either in the Lunas office or in the pack hospital .

Between those two things she was busy all day every day , it was just what shed gotten used to , she supposed .

They were both frowning at her , thats not very healthy , Hailey muttered .
