28 Belladonna That meeting with Alpha Gretta and Alpha Hailey , about her mating alliance , didnt go too badly .
That clause did clearly define born into a mate bond , not conceived into one .
So that would go in her favour .
Gretta read through the whole thing and shook her head more than once .
Then looked at her and stated , You were chosen , just to be rejected ? Correct .
Bella had nodded , she already knew that .
This clause ; about you getting to keep anything given to you , after a rejection has been issued and accepted .
Gretta stated , On a technicality , that could be seen by you , by us here at the Alpha Council , as that pup is a gift of life .
So , it is yours to keep , seeing as you were rejected and had also left that pack before you knew you were pregnant .
She heard Hailey chuckle , Now , now Gretta , calm down a little .
I know you like to pull these contracts apart to be in favour of the one youre trying to help , but its already null and voided .
So there is no need for you to do that , pull it to pieces .
All we have to do legally , is to stay true to our own rules and laws as Council members , which is to contact the father and inform him of his pup .
From what I read , everything right at this minute is in Bellas favour already .

Gretta turned and looked at her He did ? and Bella nodded in answer to the question .
Then he will want to know about the pup , regardless of them being rejected and that mating alliance voided .
It will be pure blooded , so I can only imagine that he is going to come in here , all claws out to retrieve what he will believe is his , when he finds out .

I agree with that , but Bella also stated that he wasnt a brute , not mean and cruel , so I think its best if we just email him , and inform him of the situation , a simple letter should do it .

They stared at each other for a long minute before they both , Gretta and Hailey were looking at her .

I dont know to be honest with you , Im not willing to give up my child to him , and relinquish my kin bond just so that he can raise my child , and it will never know who I am .
Bella sighed and looked from one to the other Hed likely make for a good dad … but I dont think his new 1/3 18 Pin 28 Mate would be happy about it or treat the pup well .

He cant claim your pup as his Heir and demand you give it up , as the mating alliance states , its clause is clear and that alliance is now voided .

She thought about it for several minutes and both Gretta and Hailey gave her the time to think it through .
Then I guess you can email him and tell him , see what he does about it .
shed argued with herself about what to do , not knowing what he would actually do because he had a new Mate and Luna .
Alright , you stated hes got a Goddess Gifted now , and it has been what ? Five days today ? Shell go into heat tomorrow or could well be now , so well leave it to next week .
That way he can get back to us right away and not have to concern himself with leaving his Goddess Gifted in pain and agony , if it happens after hes contacted ; to come here , which I suspect that he will .

Hailey nodded Hell want to not only lay eyes on Bella here , but scent out his pup and then probably try and convince her in person that she should go back to his pack , to have that pup and raise it inside his pack too … Well have to set up full meeting about it , all four of us on the council here and Belladonna , he and likely his unit , maybe his new Luna even .

Shed been shown to a place of residence after that and spent the rest of that week in her new office , tending to the wolves here at the Alpha Council as per her job title .
It was an interesting week for her .
She got to see her first Alpha to Alpha argument over who was the father of a she wolfs pup .
She didnt know and there were two males claiming to be the pups father .
That she wolf was not much further along than she herself was and the she wolf in question didnt want a paternity test , due to the risk that it could potentially make her lose her pup .
She wanted to wait for one of them to scent it out or it being born .
Shed never seen anything like it , the yelling that was going on between those two Alpha 2/3 410 Polit 28 males .
She put a hand on the she wolf in case the yelling got out of hand , but she just sat there and stared at the two boys .
She seemed unconcerned about who the father was .
Neither were her Goddess Gifted Mate and she was of the opinion she wasnt going to be mated off to either one of them just because there was a pup .
She put many she wolves that week on wolfen birth control , and yes , like Gretta stated , some came for a morning after pill to keep themselves certain they werent going to get pregnant .
She also stitched up a few of the prisoners here in the council grounds and spent time with those brought here for protection from being harmed by others .
Her life here was actually very busy .
Much more so than it had been inside a pack , though it was all doctor related .
She wasnt the only wolfen doctor here either .
There was another , Dr Gil Dickson .
Hed been there for many years and seen it all he told her .
He was friendly and smiled a lot , asked her on a daily basis how she was doing , regarding being pregnant , if she thought the stress was too much .
The days moved on and she kind of forgot about Alpha Gretta contacting Parker until she strolled into her office one afternoon and sank down across from her .
Just sat there and stared at her for a full minute with narrowed eyes and then stated , Well Bella , youre free and clear , Parker is having a pup with his Goddess Gifted , Carina .
Apparently , she never went into heat got pregnant in the first few days of being there , they couldnt keep their hands off each other , and she is just over a week along .
Bella had sat and stared at Alpha Gretta , Parker doesnt want to be a part of this pups life ? shed questioned almost disbelievingly .
He has concerns about Carina being upset about it , so he is going to relinquish his parental rights , in order to keep her happy and stress free during her pregnancy.
Bella frowned at her now , she didnt know if she believed that , then she was handed a printout of several emails that were addressed to the Alpha and Luna of the Lustrous Moon .
So she could see the conversation theyd had about her unborn pup with Parker .
