51 Bella Shed reset four dislocations from that hardcore training with the Luna .
She understood why they did it , but didnt think it was at all necessary for anyone to learn to fight like that .
Then shed had two 14 year old boys , twin brothers , whod snuck out and onto the agility course unsupervised , on a dare from other kids , to run it without getting caught .
They had both gotten themselves injured due to trying to stop each other from beating themselves .
One was now in the pack hospital in traction , after breaking his left femur and fracturing his hip bone as well , and though there were surgical procedures to fix those things , if she performed them on the boy who had no wolf , when he got his wolf it was likely the wolf would be lame on his left back leg .
The best option for young wolfen children was traction to weight the bones and pull them gently back into their natural alignment .
So , there were no pins or rods holding them together , something that would get in the way of their first shift .
Something that was likely to cause more pain than was necessary .
Because a shift would rip the pins and rods from the human , and therefore , theyd be injured .
So , this boy , Hank , was now here in the hospital for a period of at least six weeks , possibly longer .
The other boy , Samson , could be released from the hospital .
Shed set his broken arm , and he was now sporting a cast to help it heal .
But he was sitting there with his twin keeping him company .
Mala had come in here and stared at those two boys , chastised them about being out there on that course , and alone , without any supervision , other than other children egging them on .
She was very disappointed in them .
Shed told them they were old enough to know better .
They were , in fact , the two oldest teens in the pack and were always cheeky ; brothers that liked to get into a bit of mischief , and theyd gotten more than they bargained for this time .
Mala had told them that Aston was aware of the situation , and he was going to come down here to have words with them himself .
The moment he was done attending to arriving packs .
Mala had looked at her and shaken her head as theyd walked away from the ward , and muttered They cant be punished , already injured , they are too rambunctious .
1/4 51 Bella had shrugged , though sometimes she saw Mala sigh heavily and not know what to do with unruly pups .
There were more of them coming into the pack now , with second chance mates as well as a few more orphans , and their ages now varied along with their temperaments and attitudes , which depended on how their former pack was run .
It could be quite frustrating for the long term pack members who prided themselves on acceptance , and no bullying or discrimination was a pack law .
But some came here and those things were already ingrained into them .
Shed seen Aston and Mala punish unruly wolves , cuff them with silver and children without wolves , teens , were made to stand around on the training ground all day long and do nothing .
Boredom got the better of them , and they promised not to do it again after being out there for 10 or 12 hours .
They were standard pack related things , where not everyone got along with everyone .
A few times , enemies of pack members requested sanctuary , and unknowingly , they had enemies within the pack , that had seen a fight or two break out .
It didnt go down so well with the Alpha and Luna .
But Ben , as their War General , dealt with those wolves .
Bella left the packs hospital with Franny after making sure Hank was settled in for the night .
His mother was there , and shed yelled at both her boys more than their own Luna had .
Bella had charted pain meds in case Hank needed any throughout the night and knocked off for the day .

She muttered as she and Franny headed for the pack Creche .
I believe Holden has cocktails for the adults up there at his daughters birthday .
Shed chuckled softly as they went to pick up their kids, and theyd both laughed .
Franny was one of her regular social group , her new Anaesthetist .
Shed lost Reed to a Mate Bond two months back , and hed moved on to her pack .
They needed him there , and hed opted to go .
His job was in high demand .
Bella strolled into the packhouse with Milly on her hip , chatting to Franny who was carrying her daughter Harley .
Both Milly and Harley were the same age .
Franny also had a son a year younger than Whit .
Those two boys were out the back of the packhouse swimming at a pool party for one of their friends .
She knew Parker was here somewhere for the mating ball being held tomorrow night .
She had been informed by her Luna , but she wasnt concerned about it .

My daughter Milly She stated simply , honestly and turned her eyes back to Parker .

She was given a bright red and blue cocktail and a hamburger , leaned back in the chair and relaxed , chatted with her friends .
The orphanage had four more small children , and a 12 year old about to turn 13 , hed been brought here for safe keeping after a pack war .
He was a young Alpha pup and only due to stay here for a short period of time .
Until his aunt could be located in the city of Nightingale .
Till then , he was here with her .
He wasnt all that happy , but hed lost everything , including the woman that had gotten him to safety .
Shed done everything to protect him , even as injured as she was herself .
Pushed past the pain and agony of her own wounds long enough to get him onto council grounds .
Then shed collapsed and died from her injuries .
Shed managed to cloak them with some sort of magic , saved her Alphas heir as were her instructions , loyal to her very last breath .
It was nearly 9pm when they packed up the party and everyone headed on to their homes .
She was laughing at her troop of kids all running , yelling about being the first one in the shower , she had Milly swung up on her back , getting a piggyback ride .

She was chanting excitedly .
Bella chased them all , they were all hopped up on sugar and she , herself , was a little on the tipsy side , had a few wolfen loaded cocktails and was a happy , giggly she wolf , in the mood to hunt and play with her charges .
She was chasing 10 children through the pack , and she beat them all home and grinned at them , as she put Milly on the veranda , I win .
She laughed , and they all yelled she cheated used her wolfen speed at the end to beat them .
Which she had , she just laughed and waved them inside .
Shower and bed .
She chuckled at them .
