52 Parker Belladonna stood right in front of him , and yet did not say anything to him about his and her child ; that shed had to him , he wanted to grate out at her , why she was denying him his right to that child .
She had to know he would want to know , regardless of how she had been raised ; that he would not allow that to happen to his own child .
But she had a small daughter , sitting right on her hip , and she was cute as a button , with her curly ginger hair and big brown eyes .
She must take after her father in every way .
She didnt look anything like Belladonna , not even the same skin tone .
This little girl had very fair skin .
Though he could tell she was Belladonnas daughter , they smelled the same ; had a family scent about her , smelled of Alpha blood , just like her mother did .
So , he kept himself in check , didnt want to frighten the little one .
His eyes moved to Belladonnas neck , there was no filigree there , but it was clear to him , shed taken up a lover .
Otherwise , how did she get her daughter ? He heard Shannon ask some questions , actively mentioned the word daughter and son , and Parker understood his Gamma was trying to make her think about her other child , in order for him to pick up on something , about the child shed had with him , seeing as he was right in front of her .
She never mentioned the other child , just walked off with her friend and Shannon shook his head at Parker , mind linked to him I got nothing .
If she is the mother of your unknown pup , it does not concern her at all ; that youre here inside the pack .

That Shannon is very odd , in itself .

I kind of always felt she wondered why you did the things you did .
They continued to sit , and after hed had dinner with Alpha Aston and his Luna Mala , the other 1/4 8 Point 8 Points 52 Alphas and their units , where they all just chatted about nonesental pack related things .
He took himself outside to sit on the grassed area and ponder more about the reaction hed gotten , hed not brought anything up with Aston or his Luna .
He actually couldnt until he laid eyes on the child and confirmed it was his and Belladonnas .
He did have a beer in his hand as he sat there , kind of needed it , because he didnt know what to do right that very minute .
A part of him knew he couldnt do anything at all without confronting Belladonna about that child , but what if he got it wrong? Though how could he be wrong at the same time ? He was confused now , because of her reaction or lack thereof to him .
Kane had texted Mina to come and see them , and she had , but then had just stared at him when hed asked quietly , but point blankly about Belladonnas other child .
If it was a boy or a girl , shed just stood there and raised an eyebrow at him , then shrugged it off .
Im not of your pack anymore , Alpha Parker , so Im not required to answer any of these questions .
Or at liberty to discuss other pack members of the Hollowed Moons private business .

He knew that she was right , but come on , she had been part of his pack her entire life , until she came here a few months ago .

she rolled her eyes , it was an insult to his Mate and Luna , but he didnt get angry about it , no longer cared about defending Carina from insults , Bell and her life no longer concern you , you do understand that right ? she asked and then just turned and walked away .

Shed hollered over her shoulder .
Kane had sighed himself as hed watched his sister walk off , She pledged loyalty to Aston and Mala , takes that seriously Parker … Ill go and talk to her brother to sister , but I wouldnt get your hopes up .
She is Beta ranked , and will only do as her Actual Alpha tells her too .
I cant pull rank on her anymore .
Parker nodded , it was what he would expect himself from those that would pledge loyalty to him .
But shed been here long enough to lay eyes on that child , likely smell it and know it was his even .
Kane came back 30 minutes later and shook his head .
Nothing , only that Bell is happy , settled here and enjoys her life .
Has lots of friends , is well respected .

Then stated point blankly Carina then ? and walked away ! Hed not actually told the pack it had been Belladonna that had left him , just that hed found his Goddess Gifted Mate and left it at that .
They all thought hed rejected her for Carina .
When , in fact , hed taken Carina as his mate because Belladonna had left him and told him to Mark and Mate Carina .
She hadnt cared about it at all , was happy to rid herself of him , when all hed been doing was trying to elicit some sort of jealous or angry response to seeing the girl .
To see if she wanted to stay .
He was just getting up to turn in for the night when a bunch of kids ran down the road from the far left side of the packhouse , heading away from him and down into the town , he thought .
Then there was Belladonna chasing them all , so many boys and girls , a dozen of them all in a group .
He and Vex were trying to pick up which child was theirs .
He or she was definitely among that group .
There were three alpha blooded children , and he picked up the distinct scent of a pure blood .
But they were too far from him and all racing away together .
It had to be the pure blood , but he didnt know which child that was from over here .
There were two older looking boys and several around the eight or nine mark and at least one of those girls could pass for that age group as well .
A dozen children and four of them looked to be about the right age .
All roughly the same height .
Though he knew one of those alpha bloods he could smell was Milly , her daughter .
I dont know , he muttered when his whole unit turned and looked at him questioningly , theyd not come passed him close enough for him to pick it .
Though she had to know if he came face to face with the child that kin bond was going to kick in , and shed have some explaining to do .
They , however , were all laughing , including Belladonna herself , as she chased them about , she definitely didnt care at all about him being here .
The ramifications of what was going to happen when he found out .
Shannon was right .
Belladonna was not at all concerned about how he would react to finding out about this news .
He wondered if that was because she knew him , he wasnt a tyrant , was generally fair and logical minded , stuck to his contracts , rarely rose to temper , though the one time shed seen his temper , had been over her not wanting to have a pup with him .
So shouldnt it concern her 3/4 52 +8 Point that hed be mad about it now , considering shed had a pup to him and kept it from him .
Kept that child for herself .
The woman had to know that he would want his heir inside of Lustrous Moon with him .
He was frowning deeply , maybe that was just it .
She had gotten her freedom from him and didnt want to be tied to him once more .
A pup between them would do that and she knew it .
So , shed opted not to tell him about it .
He stalked away back inside the packhouse , he couldnt confront her in front of all those children , it was clear to him , she was in charge of them right this minute .
Though hed never once seen her chase kids around his pack , play with them , yes , but not like that .
