Part 6 : Meeting Whit & a new deal Alpha Gretta She sat at her desk and read the report that Alpha Parker had sent over to her during the day .
Shed been in classes all day today .
It had been all of three and a half days since hed left the Hollowed Moon after that mating ball .
That man had likely gone straight back to his pack in a silent rage .
She didnt think hed called ahead to pre warn anyone ; so he could get back there and just corner his Luna the moment he was inside that pack and had initiated his wolves .
Or that was how this report read .
Though he had not actually harmed the woman , she was still his mate at the time .
But he had threatened her , to ruin her pretty face , in order to make her scared of him and compliant to the questioning .
It wasnt just her that had screwed him over , but that girls father as well .
An actual Beta to another pack , a man who should have known better than to see an Alpha deprived of their heir .
He would know the actual consequences of that .
Parker had questioned Carina at length about everything , and it seemed that her own father had black mailed his own daughter in order to get money from her .
Parker did not know that mans exact reason for blackmailing Carina but put the mans pack , name , rank and the amount extorted from his pack into that report .
It was his belief that Carina had not told her own father who she was trying to deceive , but the moment that he himself had brought it up with Gregory , that man had cut the line and now couldnt be contacted .
Parker had called Carinas home pack and spoken with the Alpha there ; only to hear that the mans Beta was missing had been for a day , that hed turned himself rogue , didnt believe he was dead because his sons could still feel the kin bond was intact .
He didnt know what had happened and had never seen it coming .
Carina was in a cell , bound by a silver cuff , where Parker would be keeping her until such a time as he knew what Alpha Gretta or the Wolfen Council wanted to do with her , that hed not harmed her , and as much as he had wanted to take her head clean off .
He understood that she hadnt just betrayed him , Belladonna and their son .
She had also willingly colluded with others to deceive the Wolfen Council , which saw Alpha Gretta herself 1/4 +18 Pami Part & Meeting Whit & a new deal breach Wolfen Rules and Laws .
That he was certain Alpha Gretta and the Wolfen Council would want to collect her for their own investigation , and punishments to be laid out .
That he would wait on Alpha Grettas response before dealing with her and deciding on what he would do to punish her .
If Alpha Gretta didnt want to punish her for the crimes of creating fraudulent contracts with the Wolfen Council itself ; which could see their own names tarnished and lead to other packs no longer trusting them .
He would behead the she wolf himself .
Gretta smiled at his very well worded report .
He had made sure that the council would see to their way of wanting to punish her , by stating the possible fallout ; If they didnt admit to it and investigate further for themselves .
She had a feeling the man liked writing up contracts and reports .
That he knew how to get what he wanted .
Shed not only looked Alpha Parker Hartly up , but had investigated the man himself over the past few days , and found he was well liked and respected among other Alphas .
He made good pack alliances and straightforward deals with his allied .
He took many things .
into consideration when working on a contract .
He listened to what everyone wanted , and it could take days to work out the finer details for a full allied assistance deal with a new pack .
He never rushed anything either , seemed to be patient .
So she knew he was going to stay inside his own pack until she responded to him .
Though she knew that the minute she did that , and he responded and complied with the Wolfen Councils orders .
He was , she knew , going to take himself right back to the Hollowed Moon , where he would be wanting to meet with Belladonna and likely get that all important introduction to his son and heir ; that hed been robbed of .
She sent an email back to him to let him know that shed received and read his report , would be holding a meeting with the Wolfen Council as to what they wanted to do , with their own investigation into Carina Lewis .
Hed not put Carina Hartly in that report but Lewis .
He had rescinded her status as the Luna she was willing to bet .
It took less than five minutes for him to respond with Ill wait as directed .
Please dont take too long in your deliberations .
I have pressing family needs that must be attended to by myself , in order to sort out this mess .
She leaned back in her chair and nodded .
Yes , he likely did have .
She was curious as to whether hed rejected Carina or not ? Hed not stated that in the report , though even she knew an Alpha Order was easier to do on a pack member than a rogue , but also one wouldnt want 2/4 +15 Point Part 6 Meeting Whit & a new deal to do that to their own Mate .
After only a moments thought , she figured hed rejected Carina but not turned her rogue .
She was still going to be a pack member , but not his mate or the pack , Luna .
She handed out that email to Patrick , Hailey and Tyler that evening , and Hailey sighed and shook her head .
So Alpha Parker knew nothing of the deal made with Bella via us ? No , Gretta stated .
Then the deal struck between all of you is voided , Tyler nodded .
Not good for either Bella or Alpha Parker .
No , Patrick sighed , But Gretta , you stated he would never have rejected Bella if shed wanted to stay in his back all those years ago .
Mm she nodded .
From what Ive heard and seen now , it was likely he was in love with Bella , but was also constrained by his own Mating Alliance .
Though I think his original intent was to reject her , that was lost to the mate bond , to his realising she was a lovely person , kind and caring .
A good Luna to his pack .
The i *** t never told her .
Hailey shook her head , and we did question Bella about that herself .
Eight years is a long time to be bound to someone and still not bond properly .
We thought it was odd even back then .
Bella didnt .
Shes likely got her own reasons outside of the mate bond to not feel anything , might not even actually be able to bond with anyone , with Freya being her wolf .
Gretta sighed .
What do you think ? Patrick asked .
Parker is going to go right back to Bella , and ask her to move back to his pack .
Not only is it what all Alphas would do .
I think he will try to re establish a bond , create a proper relationship with her .
Gretta nodded , Though that in itself is likely to be difficult .
She mused and then shook her head .
I foresee only one problem … Freya .
That is going to be an issue , but only until separation from Bella happens , Hailey nodded .
That in itself could be the very issue , Gretta sighed .
But again , out of our hands , only Selena can sort that out , I imagine .
As for Bella , shes not heartless , and she will listen to what Parker wants , also listen to what Whit wants .
It might take some time to sort out , but I do believe Parker is not about to be stupid twice over .
Carina? Tyler asked.
Oh that she wolf is coming here to be punished by Hailey and I personally .

She looked at Hailey .
A full investigation ? Yes .
Hailey nodded .
Id like a word with her , but no other council members need to be brought in on this one i dont think .
Ill collect her with a warrior escort , and expect him to be the one to hand her over to us officially .
That is proper protocol , when an Alpha needs to hand a prisoner over to us .
Hell just have to deal with the waiting on going back to meet his son .
Until our investigation is complete as well .
Hes not going to like that , Patrick stated , Likely to argue about needing to meet his son .
Well hes not seen him in nine years , whats a few more weeks ? Hailey stated with a shrug .
If hed not gone to that place for a mating ball hed still be in the dark and unaware .
Our lives are long and patience is key to being happy .
Hmm , if only all wolves were patient and accepting of the things around them , we wouldnt have the need for half of the rules and laws weve had to put in place to contain them .
Patrick nodded .
Some Alphas are outright nasty and do things on the sly to avoid punishment and see them in a good light , when really they are the ones that caused the trouble in the first place but cant admit it .
he shook his head Not even our own kin can be trusted at times .
He muttered .
Gretta knew he was talking about his own kin , Alpha Hudson of the Glimmering Moon , screwed his own life up and tried to have the council side with him , only to find out he was the one that lied to everyone about everything .
