81 Belladonna For the past six months , shed not interfered in the growing bond between Whit and Parker , and she saw that Whit was now much more curious about the man and his pack .
Hed seen Vex on the surface , had met him officially now , and Parker had gotten permission from Aston to shift so that Whit could see his beast .
Vex was a large black wolf with a white halo band around his chest and over his shoulders and a white muzzle , and had a smattering of white fur along his cheeks .
He also didnt have the usual brilliant light green eyes of a wolf but were grey in colour .
Whit had stared at his fathers wolf , who was taller than he was standing up , had really looked at him and when Parker had shifted back hed asked him about his wolfs eyes .
Hmm , I dont know , they were green when I was 14 and got my wolf .
Turned grey when I was 15.
No one knows why .
Shed not even known he was an early shifter or that Vex had once had green eyes .
Freya had looked at him that day from behind Bellas eyes and seemed curious herself , though she kept her thoughts to herself on the matter .

It was only early and the other children here were still sleeping .

Shed sat and told Parker about Milly being rescued by the Wolfen Council from the black market , when hed finally gotten around to asking about her father and who he was , and that shed been bled to her , because shed fallen in love with little Milly , she was also bled to Whitney .
Hed sighed himself and seemed to understand her reluctance to him trying to get to know her .
He still smiled at Milly when he saw her and always said hello, but she often just turned away .
Shannon was the only person she would interact with out of Parker and his unit , and she knew that was because he was a Gamma and could charm her into being settled around him .
