88 Parker He could see Whit was just staring at him and his explanation of the way hed gotten two of his subsidiary packs and that it seemed to shock him , that those packs Alphas children were still inside those packs as well .
Likely the boy saw it as a threat to the seat of Alpha for those packs .
Most Alphas taking over a pack for themselves would kill not only the leadership , but their heirs as well , to prevent any attempts at a re takeover in the future .
Parker did not do that .
He gave them the option to leave and find a new pack , renounce their titles and claim on the land and move on , or to stay within their home pack and be considered part of his leadership for the subsidiary pack .
Not all took up his offer and one hadnt had any heirs at all , and two had children so young that theyd not really understood what was going on .
Though the Luna and her children were still in one pack , shed not wanted to be her Alphas Luna , but was made to be it by the Alpha , because he had desired her and wouldnt take no for an answer .
She had a lot of trauma from her Alpha Mate .
There had been a war with that very pack , but hed not started it , gone there to aid the Luna herself to gain her freedom and like Bellas home pack , had taken his warriors in the hope a show of force was all that would be needed .
No such luck .
Her Alpha wasnt giving up his possession , theyd been his very words that day , She is my possession to own .
That Alpha had given the order for his wolves to attack and so Parker had had no choice but to defend , it had been the Luna to that very pack , that had mind linked to the packs fighting wolves and implored them to stop , and let him Parker , kill her brute of a Mate and their horrid Alpha so that everyone , them included could live peaceful lives .
The war had petered out kind of quickly to that Alphas shock , and he had realised what his own Luna had done , and he and his unit had raced back to attack her , in his rage .
She was safe in the locked down packhouse , and shed refused to open it for her own Mate , and he and his unit had taken on that Alpha in a duel outside the packhouse .
It had been him and his pack that had saved them , and they were still grateful to this very day .
The Luna still resided in the pack, with her alpha blooded children .
They didnt live within the packhouse by her own choosing .
She had taken her children and moved back into her family home , a place hed heard shed been taken from against her own will , and her family killed 1/4 +8 Points 88 when theyd tried to stop him from taking her .
She was now mated to one of his warriors , and happily so , they had been gifted to each other five years after the take over , and shed bled all of her children to his warrior , and they were still happy to this day .
Had two of their own children now as well .
Hed made a lot of packs less violent and cruel and was actually well liked by other packs around him .
He was very strict and expected everyone to uphold any and all deals with him to the very letter .
But he wasnt a mean or cruel man , and he did actively try and avoid war where it was possible .
Tried to talk everything out , though he always turned up with a full war presence to get those sit down meetings , it was usually a threat of war that worked to stop a war .
Or eight out of ten times , and agreements were struck to see change within those packs or Alphas step down and leave .
Though to a lot of other packs that werent affiliated with him and didnt know him well , he was seen to hunger for power and wealth , and he allowed it to be seen that way .
To help keep his reputation as a fierce Alpha , to be reckoned with , in place .
So , none would come at him without much thought and deliberation .
But he wasnt actually like that at all , he just kept the reputation because it was what kept his central pack and his subsidiary packs safe .
He was seen he knew to be an Alpha that just went in and killed others to take over .
If he was even slightly offended by someone , and that led most to be polite around him .
Those that truly knew him understood he wasnt like that , and that was what actually mattered to him .
It also kept his allies safe as well .
To be tied to one with such a fierce reputation kept their enemies at bay .
But he couldnt just go in and takeover every single pack he dealt with .
Like Belladonnas home pack , to many inside that pack were like the leadership , and killing her father and his Luna wouldnt have resolved the issue .
Others would have just taken his place , and the innocent pack members would likely have suffered .
It was also too far away from him to rule over all the time .
In another state altogether , Belladonna had come from Arkansas and that pack had just been out of his control and containment wasnt an option from where he was .
Hed also only come to know about it by accident , at a mating ball , in which both packs had attended ; his and her fathers , and one of the she wolves from Belladonnas pack had moved into his pack and hed heard the tale from her Mate , about she wolves drugged or dragged into 214 88 +9 Point : the pack .
That male wolves were ordered to mate themselves to those she wolves .
Hed gone and talked to her , and heard shed made friends with one of them she wolves dragged into the at pack , and realised she was one of his missing wolves from a subsidiary pack .
Parker had spent months having her look at photos of missing wolves , from not only his packs but all his allied packs as well .
Shed identified over 80 wolves inside that pack that belonged to either him or one of his allied packs , and so hed devised a plan with her right there to describe the packs layout to him , so he knew the best place to attack that pack from .
She was , in fact , the she wolf that had told him about the Alpha having a claimed daughter , that didnt live within the packhouse .
Shed been 10 years older than Belladonna and not had anything to do with her at all , but shed known the girl lived with her grandmother and no one was allowed to touch her .
Her father and the Luna were expecting to use her to their advantage later on when her wolf finally emerged .
But so far , at that time , no one had seen her wolf .
The Alphas youngest daughter was to be slaved off was how hed seen it .
It wasnt a nice thought at all and was in fact , the very reason hed insisted on seeing her , brought her up .
Was also kind of the reason hed been surprised she was untouched .
Slave off usually meant sold to others for so called good times to other alphas and their units .
Just not to those inside their own packs .
Thankfully , shed not had that happen to her and not been repeatedly brutalised at her own fathers whim .
Hed put that down to her not having a wolf yet .
Her father had told him she was practically wolf less in an effort for him to not want her , he supposed .
Though Belladonnas version of her always being the one that was going to be sold off , was different to how hed perceived the situation .
He now wondered what actually had gone on where she was concerned .
A part of him thought her father was trying to protect her from his own Luna at times .
It was Belladonnas former Luna that put in all the clauses that would see her and him live separately and Belladonna having to leave her children with him , and sever her kin bond .
But it was her father that had put in the clauses of her being able to leave the pack , have money to do so and that she would get to keep all of those things shed been bought or gifted .
Given a Lunas car .
Her father that had insisted she could continue to train as a doctor , and all of them clauses around him not touching his Goddess Gifted Mate when he found her , to prevent Belladonna from feeling any pains of betrayal .
3/4 88 That was now very confusing to him , though a part of him had wondered if , at the time , her father had thought she might return to his pack when he , Parker , found his Goddess Gifted and rejected her , and so he could once again use her as hed originally planned to .
