Chapter 11
“Well I guess that’s one way to take someone down.” Miles chuckles as he grips my hips squeezing them slightly and that’s when I notice that during our fall, I have somehow ended up straddling him. He pushes himself up on his elbows, his chest almost touching mine. “I like you from this view too.” I can see the desire pool in Miles eyes. He adjusts himself so he’s now sitting up on just one elbow, his other hand sliding its way slowly up the side of my body, caressing the side of my breasts gently, before continuing its trail up until it stops on my throat, giving it a gentle squeeze. I curse my body and Miles as I let out a soft moan. I feel his length harden against me, and all I want is for him to take me right then and there.
Someone lets out a small cough directly behind us, bringing me back to reality. We are in sparring class surrounded by other students. I quickly scramble off of Miles my face tinged pink from blushing. Miles and I continue to practice take downs and by the end of class my panties are soaked with desire.
“So,” Miles smiles at me wickedly, “You want me to take you back to our suite and really show you a good time?”
“In your wildest dreams.” I reply as I turn away from him, walking towards the dorm room, letting my hips sway as I walk away, smiling when I hear Miles let out a groan.
“Ugh, did you see her? She was practically fucking Miles on the floor in front of the entire class.” I could hear the disdain for me in her voice. “Like come on could you be more trashy.”
I inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly. I would not let her remarks get to me. Hilda was obviously one of those girls who’d not left the drama of high school behind.
“Oh shut up Hilda.” Came the voice of a girl I hadn’t met yet, “you’ve been caught in more compromising situations than that. You’re just envious that she’s replaced you.”
“Shut up Gertrude.” Hilda screeched, obviously livid that someone had the audacity to call her out on her shit, “That tramp will never replace me. Aphelion can enjoy fucking her for now, but our fathers will never break our engagement, not for some nobody like her.”
“You would really get in between fated mates?” The girl called Gertrude asked, disgust in her voice.
“We all know fated mates don’t exist, it’s an old wives tale.” Hilda replied with an eye roll I could practically hear.
“Just because there hasn’t been a fated couple since the olden days doesn’t mean it isn’t true.” Gertrude responded,
as I walked down the locker room, closer to them.
I stopped at the corner and peeked around it, Gertrude, a beautiful tanned skin beauty, with black eyes, and short brown curly hair, she was a thicker girl, but her curves were in all the right places. She stood facing Hilda who was starring daggers at her not looking the least bit intimidated by her.
“You can’t tell me that you aren’t upset that some slut walked into this school and wrapped the four most eligible guys around her little finger.” Hilda said, her hand on her hip.

Chapter 11
I had had enough of Hilda, I walked forward, making my appearance known. “Listen Helga, Aphelion just isn’t that into you. It’s got nothing to do with me, or with him. It’s you. He couldn’t stand being attached to a nasty selfish bitch who couldn’t give a shit less about anyone else but herself. He has his kingdom to think about, and having a cunt Queen just isn’t something he could support.” I say casually, shrugging my shoulders.
“Why you Bitch!” Hilda raising her right arm, palm facing out, causing lightning to strike out, heading straight
towards me.

I have no time to react, it’s happening so quick. I close my eyes waiting for the lighting to strike, but it never does. Instead I felt tiny sparks run along my body, similar to when I am embraced by Aphelion. I slowly open my eyes and everyone is starring at me, like I am so kind of freak.
“Did you just absorb her lighting?” Gertrude asked, like it was the most bizarre thing she had ever seen.
“Umm I don’t know.” I replied.
“How do you not know, Hilda is a demigod, she’s half a God, her lightning strikes are only second to Aphelion’s in this school. You definitely would have felt it.”
“Honestly I only felt tiny sparks crawl over my skin, similar to the effect Aphelion has on me when we embrace.” I reply looking down at my feet. Had I done something wrong?
“If that isn’t proof enough that she is Aphelion’s mate, then I don’t know what is.” Gertrude said as she pulled her shirt down, “Catch you later Katrina, I can’t be late to Magical Enhancement, Professor Isis is a real stickler.”
“Bye.” I waved at Gertrude, hoping I would see her later. I wanted to thank her properly for sticking up to me.
“You performance just now doesn’t mean you’re APHELION’S MATE! It means you’re a FREAK. A magical succubus, instead of feeding off sex, you feed off power.” Hilda replies glaring at me.
“Whatever you want to believe Helga.” I reply grabbing my bag, and slamming my locker shut.
I didn’t want to believe her, but a small part of me wondered if she was right. Could this be another demonic power that I possessed?
