Chapter 109
The husbands of the ladies came over to plead with Stella, but Stella Ignored them. They turned to Jordan afterwards, but Jordán sent them may inth just a few words,
Jordan said, “You should feel lucky that my wife was the one who stepped in today. If it had been me, things would ham gotten a lot tiger?
After thinking it over, everyone realized Jordan had a point. No one dared to say a word after that.
Jordan worried that Stella might be tired from standing for so long. Since she didn’t need to do anything else now, he took her hand and said, “Let’s go take a break over there. I’ve had some food prepared for you.”
Stella didn’t hesitate. She knew she probably wouldn’t be able to eat much at this hour, given everything that had happened, but she was hungry
Stella spotted some small cakes that looked both beautiful and delicious. Just as she reached for one, Jordan took it away from her, and she gave him an aggrieved look.
Jordan’s face was stern. “The doctor said sweets aren’t good for your spleen. The reason you’re so thin isn’t just that your eat little. Your spleen is not in good shape, either.”

Jordan placed some non–sweet food next to her.

The scene was a total moss. The ladies‘ clothes were ripped, and they looked just as disheveled as Lillian had earlier.
Their husbands could only stand there and watch, completely helpless.
Stella watched the whole scene as if she were enjoying the show.
However, she didn’t realize that this incident had made her famous overnight. Everyone could see that Stella was as terrifying as hell. They suddenly understood why she married Jordan. It was because those two were of the same kind.

Stella didn’t have it. She replied, “Mr. Shaw, if you really understood what I did, you would know I was being pretty lenient with them today.
“Besides, I never messed with them, but they’re the ones who came after me. You didn’t say a thing to them, but you’re scolding me.

“Let’s be honest. You all look down on Jordan and me, don’t you?
“How about we make a bet? I say you’ll be out of that seat within three years,
I my husband will be the one replacing you?
Chandler nawed his eyes dangerously at first, and then burst out laughing. “Stella, it’s good to have guts when you’re young, but making erum everywhere is not a wise move!
“Thanks for the warning, Mr. Shaw. We know exactly what we’re doing.” Stella replied.
Chandler stormed all in anger. He thought, “The gathering was supposed to be a classy event, but they went and ruined the whole thing”
Once he inft, Jordan said, “He is probably going to try and get us kicked out of the association,
“That’s no big deal, Let’s head back,” Stella implied.
Jordan had witnessed Stella’s hacking skills before. If it weren’t for her, he wouldn’t have made it this far this fast
As soon as they got home, Stella didn’t pause to rest. She went straight to her computer and started writing the code. After a while, she cracked it.
“These are all the records of Mr. Shaw’s shady dealings with others. There is a lot of dirt on him, if he dares to kick us out, we’ll shove this in his face,” Stella said.
Jordan glanced at the screen and smiled. He said, “Good job, This is very useful. Keeping your identity under wraps has made things easier for us.”
No one know that Stella was the mysterious figure behind Jordan. Of course, even if they were told, no one would believe it.
If anyone ever believed it, they would be on guard against Jordan and Stella, and it would be much harder for Stella to do anything. But Stella’s computer skills were off the charts.
Stella was really worn out and wanted to rest.

“You can go wash up.”

Stella felt thirsty but realized there was no water left in the bedroom, so she stepped out to get some. At the same time, Jordan came out of his bathroom, probably also looking for some water. They ran into each other in the hallway.
Jordan had nothing on but a towel wrapped around his waist, and his upper body was bare with water still dripping down his chest.

“I–I’m thirsty,” Stella mumbled.
Jordan certainly noticed her reaction. Watching her scurry off, he couldn’t help but smile. He followed after her and said, “Me, too. But you can ask the servant to get it for you next time.”
“I want to try doing things myself,” Stella replied. “Moving around helps my body’s metabolism move faster, and maybe I be able to eat more soon. Is beneficial to my recovery.
Jordan hummed in agreement.

Stella felt the atmosphere was weird, especially since Jordan had seen her but still didn’t put on any clothes. It made her feel uncorre tried to pour herself some water, she nearly spilled it all over her foot.
Jordan, afraid she would burn herself, quickly reached out to take her hand and listed the kettle away.
He said, “Be careful.” His voice was incredibly gentle, like a spring breeze brushing past her ear.
Stella noticed he was still holding her hand and quickly let go. She said, “Sorry. Did I bother your”
“What were you thinking about?” Jordan asked. His deep voice was right in her ear, and his hot breath brushed against her skin, making her ear tingle,
