Chapter 159
“You bitch!” Andrew spat, his voice full of rage. Another slap landed hard across Fiona’s face.
“Go on, hit me. Hit me all you want!” Fiona sneered, her eyes wild. “It’s not like Jack hasn’t slept with me already. What does that make you sick? Does it disgust You?”
People nearby couldn’t help but stare, quickly recognizing the once–glorious Andrew and his wife, Fiona. “Weren’t they the perfect couple? How did they end up turning on each other like this?” the onlookers whispered.
No matter how hard Andrew hit her, Fiona remained defiant, showing not a hint of remorse.
Anna quickly stepped in, grabbing Andrew’s arm. “Dad, stop. Please, stop.”
Fiona egged him on, her words sharp as ever. “Let him hit me. He’s already had someone else do it, hasn’t he? If he’s so unhappy, let him keep going. I’ll just collect the evidence and take him to the police.”
“Mom, don’t forget. Even if you go to the police, you’re no better than Dad,” Anna said, her voice steady but firm.
“Why should I care?” Fiona snapped back, her voice full of bitterness. “I did so much for my family, and how did they treat me? No one in this world loves me, no one. So I’ll get back at you all. I’ll make you pay!”
Anna really thought Fiona had lost her mind. “Mom, Grandma is dead. Did you know?” Anna asked, her voice soft but steady.
Fiona froze for a moment, and then suddenly burst out laughing. “Dead? Serves her right. Why didn’t she die sooner?” she sneered.
Anna wasn’t really trying to smooth things over between them. She just wanted to point out that they were both after Stella now.
But Fiona’s attitude made Andrew completely lose it. He yanked Fiona by the hair and struck her hard.
Fiona refused to back down. Even though she was exhausted, she still struggled with all her might.
They fought for what felt like forever, and Anna couldn’t pull them apart.
Maybe he was just exhausted, but Andrew jabbed a finger at Fiona and snapped, “I’m divorcing you. Hurry up and give back everything that used to be mine.”
“Divorce?” Fiona let out a mocking laugh. “I’m not divorcing you. What are you gonna do about it? I’ll make sure everyone knows you’re a cuckold. Go on and hit me, as hard as you want. This is my revenge on you.
“And as for your stuff, I can’t give it back. I already handed it all over to my own family. If you’ve got the guts, go ask them yourself.”
Andrew was still fuming, but he couldn’t deny that Fiona had a point. In the end, he turned and left without another word.
Anna hurried after him,
Fiona called out to her, “Anna!”
Anna glanced back, but in the end, she quickly got into the car with Andrew.
Fiona burst out laughing. “Fine, none of you want me anymore, is that it? I did everything for you people, and this is what I get in return? None of you is any good. Just wait, I’ll make you all pay!”
In the car, Anna glanced at Andrew.

Chapter 159
“Anna, we’re going to the Clark family to get our money back. If they refuse, I’ll tear their house apart,” Andrew said, his voice cold and
resolute.
He hadn’t known before, but now that he did, there was no way he’d let the Clark family push him around like this.
“Dad, I’ll go with you,” Anna replied firmly.
Stella didn’t even hear about the Clark family’s place getting smashed up until Silas mentioned it. Silas, who was in huge debt, came running to Stella asking for a loan.
Stella wasn’t about to give him a cent. She just said, “Silas, the only reason I haven’t taken revenge on you yet is because I haven’t found the
time.
“Don’t think I’ve forgotten everything you did to me. You still have the nerve to ask me for money? Last time, I had someone break your fingers. Aren’t you even a little afraid?”
Silas’s face turned ugly. “Stella, if you won’t lend me the money, fine. I’ll just go tell your husband that you were the one who threw yourself at me and begged me to sleep with you. Let’s see what he thinks about that.”
“Sure, go ahead. Be my guest,” Stella replied, not the slightest bit bothered.
Silas was left completely stunned. He’d only said all that to squeeze more out of Stella, but she looked like she couldn’t care less. ‘Could she really not be scared at all?‘ he thought, feeling a little shaken.
Silas just turned on his heel and walked off. But after walking for quite a while, he still didn’t see Stella coming after him.
When he arrived at Erwin Group, the sight before him left him completely stunned. Even when Hayes Group was at its most glorious, it had
never looked this grand.
‘Damn, how can a place look this incredible?‘ he thought, a wave of envy washing over him. Just as he was about to walk in, he was stopped
by security.
Silas puffed up his chest and boasted, “I’m Mrs. Erwin’s uncle. You really think you can stop me? Just wait till I see my nephew. He’ll deal with you guys.”
The security guards exchanged uneasy glances.
“Go ahead, call and see if he wants to see me,” Silas said confidently.
The guards quickly made the call, and when Jordan’s secretary said he’d see him, they had no choice but to let Silas in.
Before heading in, Silas shot them a smug look, pointing at each of them. “You better listen up. I’ve got all your faces memorized. Just wait, I’ll tell Mr. Erwin about this, and you’ll be out of a job before you know it.”
The guards just glanced at each other, none of them looking the least bit concerned.
This kind of thing had never happened before, but everyone knew that while Jordan might seem scary to outsiders, he actually treated his staff pretty well.
Silas strutted into Erwin Group, chest puffed out and head held high. If nobody greeted him, he’d immediately start bragging about who he
was.
It wasn’t until he finally ran into Jordan’s secretary, who actually treated him with some respect, that Silas looked a little more pleased. “Not bad,” Silas nodded approvingly. “So, where’s Mr. Erwin?”

- Erwin is waiting for you inside, Mr. Clark. He asked me to come out and welcome you. Please, this way the secretary made a courteous gesture, inviting him to follow.
Silas was absolutely full of himself. Man, having people treat me like this feels awesome, he thought smugly. But just as he strufted forward a few steps, his foot suddenly slipped and he fell flat on his face.
Everyone around tried hard not to burst out laughing, but he could see them all secretly grinning.
Silas felt completely humiliated. As he got up, he snapped at the secretary. “What kind of place is this? Why is the floor so slippery? Where’s the cleaning staff? They’re doing a terrible job. Fire her right now!”
The secretary quickly explained, “Mr. Clark, actually, the floor’s so slippery because it’s been cleaned too well. I’ll let the cleaning staff know
not to make it so spotless next time.”
Silas shot her a suspicious look. He couldn’t shake the feeling she’d done it on purpose. But he let it slide. He was already at Jordan’s office door, and he was ready to give Jordan a piece of his mind.
He pushed open the door, and the moment he saw the office, he was instantly dazzled by how fancy the place was. He’d seen all kinds of offices on TV when he was bored, but none of them ever looked this grand in real life.
‘Man, if only I could have an office like this,‘ he thought, his heart full of envy.
And there was Jordan, lounging in his office chair like he owned the place, exuding that unmistakable boss aura. “Silas, you’re here,” Jordan greeted him, his tone cool and casual.
