This is getting us nowhere except for us getting upset. I just want to use my Alpha command on the lot of them and be done with this. I glance behind me at the warriors watching from the doorway to the basement. Goddess, this would be so much easier if we
could just order the traitors and be done
with it.
But we have to keep up with appearances. Alphas who abuse the Alpha command could get a visit from the council. And with Cal getting ready to petition the council to look into packs for abuse of power, we can’t be hasty in this.
“I agree,” Ama growls as she is glaring at her parents.
Calyx sighs at us. His eyes glance at the warriors watching us. “You all have one chance to start telling us what we want to know,” Cal orders. “You have committed crimes against your future Luna and your Alphas.”
“If we don’t?” Jarrett scoffs back in a challenge.
“We start ordering answers, and you know how painful that can be if you are not willing to answer or follow the command,” I growl with a smirk. Goddess, he was a prick. Has he always been this bad? I don’t remember him being this bad when we were growing up.
Aziz is pacing in my head, a grin on his face, as he looks forward to the forced answers. ‘Pain is always a good motivator, Aziz growls in delight.
That it is, I agree with a smirk. I am looking forward to them all trying to fight the command and going through the pain of ignoring said Alpha command. “Let’s begin,” I smile maliciously.
“Why was I forced to remain locked up?” Ama demands first before anyone else can ask a question.
“You were a worthless wolf. Why would we have wasted time and effort on you?” Thomas growls, trying to dismiss Ama’s question. She did not use a command, but she did have anger behind her
words.
“Why keep me then?” Ama demands, frustration in her voice. “Why not throw me out? You always favored Melisa. You could have just kicked me out of your house.”
“And where would you have gone?” Marie challenges. “The only person who cared about y
led.
“She could have come and lived at the pack house with us,” I state confidently.
“Your father would have kicked her out of the pack,” Jarrett laughs.
We all know what he is saying is true. If our father was behind keeping Ama away from us and went

so far as having her parents lock her up, who knows what would have happened if she had shown up at the pack house asking for a place to live.
“This is getting us nowhere,” Cal sighs in anger. “Why did you lock Amalle up? Calyx orders with his Alpha command, directing it at Thomas.
“She wa… she was… worthless,” Thomas says as he fights the command.
“Why was Ama locked up?” 1 growl in my Alpha command at Marie. If Thomas is going to fight the command, he can suffer as he fights it. I will just get the answers from someone else.
Marie attempts to fight the command for a second before she gives in. “Your father wanted her out of the way,” Marie shouts in pain.
“Why?” Cal growls.
“We weren’t told. We were just told to keep her out of the way and away from the twins,” Thomas growls through the pain.
“Why? Why keep Ama away from us?” I growl in anger at Jarrett. If anyone would know, he would as he was our father’s Gamma.
“Not sure,” Jarrett says as he attempts to fight my command.
“Why was Ama kept from us?” Cal growls as he steps closer to Jarrett’s cell.
The former Gamma fights the order. He is growling in pain as he fights against us. “I don’t… know,”
he grits out.
“Liar,” I growl.
“Molly, why was Ama ordered to be kept from the twins?” Sam orders, his Gamma order being forced
onto his sister.
“I wanted the position,” she says immediately.
“Well, she is not lying,” James sighs in frustration.
“Of course not, I deserve the twins,” Molly says.
Ama growls in anger. Beren’s own anger leaking through.
“Darling, you can’t touch the doors,” I tell her as she takes a step closer to Molly, I decide to take a different approach,
“I know that the doors are coated in silver,” she huffs. She starts to pout that she can not fight

Cal smirks and stands in front of her. “Love, we talked about you picking fights with others, he smirks as he captures her lips.
Ama breaks the kiss and pouts. “I’m not to pick a fight until I have proper training, she pouts:
“How much self defense training have you had?” I ask as I come up behind her. I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her to me.
Ama melts against me and looks up. “Not enough to be picking fights,” she says with an eye roll.
“Good girl,” I purr in her ear. Ama shivers against me. “Now, where we?”
“Getting me aroused,” she hisses at me.
“Darling, then I am not doing a very good job as your mate if you are getting aroused by a purr in your ear,” I tell her. I lift her up and she immediately wraps her legs around Cal’s waist. I kinda wish it would have been mine, but she was facing the wrong direction.
“Do you three want to go get a room and we can continue the questions later?” James asks with a smirk.
“I think that sounds like a great idea,” Cal purrs as he captures Ama’s lips.
“You are both incorrigible,” she smirks at the both of us.
“Hmm, I don’t think that you would have us any other way,” I say to her.
“No, I wouldn’t,” she laughs. “Have them answer the the question of why, and then we can go do something productive.”
“What is your definition of productive? Fulfilling that need you are experiencing? Doing something as a family with little Rose?” I ask with a smirk as 1 kiss just below her ear.
