It turned out that Channing did not dislike children.
He just did not like the children given birth by a woman who was not Winona.

Savannah thought she would not be sad when she found out about this, but she did not expect to feel a throbbing pain spreading from her heart after hearing these words on the stairs. The pain rendered her almost unable to stand. She could only slowly slide down along the door and sit on the ground.
That night, Savannah did not go downstairs with the dishes.
It was late at night when the housekeeper came up and spoke to her. “Mrs. Muir, Mr. Muir said he wanted to go home, so you should head downstairs. Only then did Savannah come to her senses, recompose herself forcefully, and walk to Channing’s side.
Perhaps her expression looked really bad, so Channing frowned slightly when he saw her.

Savannah glanced at Winona.
She did not know if her mind was playing tricks on her, but she felt that Winona was hinting at something.
However, Savannah did not have time to think too much because Channing had already gotten into the car. Therefore, she hurriedly entered the passenger seat after saying goodbye to Winona.
That night, Channing was probably overwhelmed by emotions from seeing Winona or disappointed by Savannah’s continuous poor performance at the Muir manor.
After returning home, he went to the study alone after telling her to rest early.
Savannah was neither disappointed nor grateful. After lying in bed for a long time and unable to fall asleep, she took out her phone and browsed it randomly to tire herself out, trying to get sleepy.
Unexpectedly, she saw Zendaya’s post about the gender of her baby on Instagram.

Although Zendaya did not remove her from the follower list after Paul’s death and did not do anything bad to her as Edgar did, it did not mean that Zendaya still had a good relationship with Savannah.
Zendaya was a very kind lady, so Savannah could not shamelessly like the post about the baby on Instagram and make trouble for her.
However, looking at the pictures on Zendaya’s baby’s gender reveal post, Savannah also put her hand on her belly.

Savannah had already decided to give up on the child so they would not suffer with her in this world. Therefore, she did not have to know the gender.
Savannah quickly turned off her phone and buried herself in the quilt.
Somehow, she finally fell asleep. When Savannah woke up again, it was already ten o’clock the following day.
Savannah panicked and subconsciously thought she was late for work.
However, when she ran to the dining room nervously, Gilbert smiled and said, “Mrs. Muir, today is a rest day, so you don’t have to go to work.”
“Oh, I see. I forgot…” Savannah played with her hair in embarrassment. “Where is Mr. Muir? Is he at home?”
“Mr. Muir left early in the morning, maybe for an appointment. He told us not to disturb you before he went out. Gilbert smiled and added, “Mrs. Muir, Mr. Muir is really considerate, isn’t he?”
Savannah stood stiffly in place and echoed awkwardly, “R–Right.”
However, she vaguely felt Channing went out early in the morning to find Winona.
The reason why he did not wake her was probably because he did not want to be disturbed by her.

Gilbert asked curiously, “Mrs. Muir, did Mr. Muir send a message saying he’ll come home to take you out for
fun?”
“No…” Savannah shook her head and smiled reluctantly. “It’s a student from my part–time job. I promised to see her dance today.”
Perhaps because of the increase in progesterone, Savannah’s memory was messed up recently. She forgot that it was a rest day and that she had an appointment with Richard to watch Shelley dance that afternoon.
Fortunately, Richard was thoughtful and sent a message to remind her in advance.
Thus, when she arrived at the appointed place on time, Savannah finally felt relieved when she saw the cute Shelley and casually dressed Richard.
Right when they were about to enter the dance studio together, several beautifully dressed girls outside suddenly exclaimed, “Oh, my goodness! Is that Winona Guthrie, the renowned dancer? The handsome guy standing next to her must be the CEO of Muir Group, Channing Muir!”
Savannah paused.
When she looked back, Channing’s familiar black car was in front of the high–end club nearby, as expected.
By the side of the car, Channing was opening the door for Winona like a gentleman. Dressed in a beautiful short dress, Winona leaned on his side obediently and prettily.
Perhaps by chance, Winona happened to see Savannah with this movement.
Winona’s eyes stayed on Richard, who was standing next to Savannah, for another two seconds, and then she suddenly smiled and walked into the clubhouse happily with Channing.
At the same time, those girls continued their discussion.
“Oh, dear. Winona’s boyfriend is Channing!”
“Yes. I heard they were in a relationship in school, but later, Winona went abroad, and the two broke up. Now it seems that they are clearly doing well.”

Savannah’s face turned pale after hearing that, and she felt self–depreciative because they were right. The only problem was that before the City Hall could approve Channing and Winona’s marriage certificate, Savannah might have to apply for a divorce certificate with Channing first.
However, Channing would arrange for it to happen soon.
With the bitter thought in mind, Savannah took Shelley’s hand and entered the dance studio. She guided Shelley on the parts of the dance she could not execute well.
As usual, Shelley was clever and quick–witted. After being shown the ropes, she quickly caught up. Then, it took Savannah another hour to ensure Shelley’s movements flowed well and modify some details, and the dance lesson ended successfully.
Shelley jumped up and down happily. “Ms. Turner, I feel different since you taught me!”

“Really?” Savannah could not help but feel a little childish and mimicked Shelley’s tone after wiping her sweat. “I also feel different after teaching you.”
“You already look different from before, Ms. Turner,” Shelley replied.
“Oh, what’s the difference?” Savannah asked.
“Here.” Shelley jogged over to Savannah and touched Savannah’s stomach with her small hand. There is a little girl in here!”
