Savannah was puzzled for a moment. However, before she could react, she was already thrown to the side by Channing.
With a loud bang, her back hit the cold, hard wall heavily.
The intense pain made her unable to stand, and she fell to the ground pathetically. However, she struggled to prop herself up with her elbows and tried to see what had happened to Winona.
However, when she looked up, all she saw was the stern gaze of Channing, who was already coldly ordering the staff who had rushed in, “Call the police. She’s intentionally causing harm!”
“Channing, I’m fine…”
Winona hurriedly held Channing’s waist and gently reassured him in a soft voice, “Savannah was just helping me stretch my shoulders. It’s because I practiced dancing too hard earlier, and it aggravated my old injury in my shoulder. So, I couldn’t hold back when Savannah exerted some force.”
“Should I take you to the hospital?”
“Of course not. It’s my turn soon, and it’s my dream to become a professional dancer!”
“Okay, tell me where it hurts. I’ll massage it for you.”
“I’m fine. There are so many people here.”
Winona blushed and shyly turned away, covering her face as if she wanted to escape.
But Channing had already picked her up and placed her on the dressing table domineeringly.
After that, the staff put on a benevolent smile and hurriedly pulled Savannah out, not to disturb the sweet couple in the dressing room.
Savannah complied.
Even though her whole back was in pain, she sat on a cold stool with a pale face and didn’t make a sound to not disrupt the continuous sound of laughter and gentle coaxing coming from inside.
It wasn’t until Winona won the National Dance Competition and Channing carried her away lovingly to attend a party that Savannah finally dialed 911 and was taken to the hospital by an ambulance.
At that time, Savannah was lying on the hospital bed in pain and was a little unconscious.
She wondered why two people with old injuries could have such different outcomes. Even though they both had old injuries, why could Winona continue her dancing career and even win the competition?
However, she was miserable, struggling with her old injuries and finding it ditficult to lead a normal life.
Was it because Winona had a lover by her side while she didn’t?

Savannah was puzzled and couldn’t figure it out. After walking along the street for an hour, she finally returned to the Muir residence.
However, just as she changed her shoes and subconsciously touched her lower abdomen, thinking of going upstairs, she saw a familiar figure on the couch.
It was Channing.
Savannah quickly put her hand down and said, “Mr. Muir, did you come back with Winona from the hospital so soon?”
“Yes.” Channing looked at Savannah’s movements and said in a deep voice, “Why did it take you so long to return? Did you meet someone outside?”
“No, I just went for a walk.”
Savannah lowered her head. Her palm–sized face was almost out of sight. “Mr. Muir, can I go upstairs now? My clothes got a bit dirty from the chaos earlier, and I want to take a shower.”
“Are you blaming Winona?” Channing suddenly asked.
As he spoke, his dark eyes squinted. Instantly, a powerful oppression swept over him. “Your clothes are dirty, not because of the chaos, but because you lack self–control. You wore a ridiculous dress and danced in front of other men.”
“This is not a ridiculous dress.”
Even the most good–tempered person can become angry.
Savannah suddenly got agitated. “This is a very ordinary dance practice outfit, and Winona has worn it too.”
“But are you the same as Winona?” Channing slowly got up and looked down at Savannah’s heaving chest from a higher position, his eyes slightly darkened. “She wears a practice outfit but doesn’t have the same ulterior motives as you.”
