17 Chapter 17 Mirror
Victoria 1
His hands settled on my hips, and I felt the heat of him against my back, solid and overwhelming. My knees weakened as his fingers slipped beneath the hem of my sweater, ghosting over the sensitive skin of my waist.
“Leo,” I breathed, not sure if I was protesting or encouraging him.
“We’re in a public place,” he reminded me, his voice a low rumble that I felt through my entire body. “I just want to see you in that dress.” His fingertips traced up my ribs. “And maybe a few other things.”
My heart thundered in my chest as his touch ignited something primal within me–a need I couldn’t explain or resist. Despite everything I’d told myself about maintaining control, my body betrayed me, melting into his touch like I was made for him.
And in that moment, surrounded by mirrors that reflected the intensity in his eyes, I wondered if perhaps I was.
His hands continued their torturous exploration, sliding higher until they cupped my breasts through my thin bra. I gasped at the contact, my back arching involuntarily into his touch. The thin fabric was hardly a barrier between his hot palms and my sensitive flesh.
“Someone could hear,” I whispered, though I made no move to stop him. My eyes locked with his in the mirror as his thumbs circled my hardening nipples, sending jolts of electricity straight to my core.

“Then you’d better be quiet, little wolf,” he murmured against my neck, his teeth grazing the sensitive skin where my pulse raced wildly. “Can you do that for me?”
His right hand abandoned my breast, trailing slowly down my stomach. Every inch felt marked by his touch, branded. When his fingers reached the waistband of my jeans, he paused, his eyes holding mine in the mirror.
“Tell me to stop and I will,” he said, his voice strained with restraint.
The last threads of my resistance snapped. “Don’t stop,” I whispered, my voice barely audible.
His smile was predatory as he flicked open the button of my jeans and slowly lowered the zipper. The sound seemed deafening in the small fitting room. I bit my lip as his hand slipped inside, over the thin fabric of my panties.

“You’re soaked,” he growled against my ear, his voice filled with masculine satisfaction. “All this for me?”
I couldn’t answer, couldn’t think as his fingers pressed against me through the damp fabric. My hips bucked involuntarily against his hand.
“Answer me, Victoria,” he commanded, his voice taking on that alpha timbre that seemed to

vibrate through my very bones.
“Yes,” I gasped, “just for you.”
He rewarded my admission by slipping his fingers beneath the edge of my underwear, finally making contact with my bare, sensitive flesh. I had to clamp my hand over my mouth to stifle the moan that threatened to escape.
“Look at yourself,” he instructed, his gaze intense in the mirror. “See how beautiful you are when you’re desperate for me.”
I forced my heavy eyelids open, shocked by the sight of my own reflection–flushed cheeks, dilated pupils, lips parted in silent pleasure. Leo stood behind me, one arm wrapped
possessively around my waist while the other hand worked between my thighs, the movement obvious despite being hidden by my clothing.
“Luna Victoria?” The saleswoman’s voice came through the door again, closer this time. “I have some accessories that might complement that dress. Would you like to see them?”
Leo didn’t pause his ministrations, instead increasing the pressure and speed of his fingers. I felt myself climbing rapidly toward the edge, terrified of making a sound yet unable to ask him to stop.
“She’s a bit tied up at the moment,” Leo called back, his voice perfectly controlled despite the wicked things his hand was doing. “Give us a few minutes.”
“Of course, Alpha,” came the deferential reply.
The danger of discovery, combined with the skilled movement of his fingers, pushed me over the edge. My knees buckled as waves of pleasure crashed through me. Leo’s strong arm around my waist was the only thing keeping me upright as I shattered silently, my body convulsing against his hand.
“That’s it,” he whispered against my ear, his voice thick with desire. “Let go for me, Victoria. Only for me.”
As the aftershocks subsided, he slowly withdrew his hand, bringing his glistening fingers to his mouth. The sight of him tasting me made my spent body stir again with renewed desire “Delicious,” he pronounced, his eyes never leaving mine. “A taste I could get addicted to.”
I sagged against him, my legs still trembling. “I can’t believe we just did that,” I whispered, equal parts shocked and thrilled by my own abandon.
“Try on your dress now,” he said, his voice returning to normal though his eyes still smoldered. “I want to see if it looks as perfect on you as imagine.”
I blinked, trying to process the sudden shift from intense intimacy to casual conversation. “You expect me to function normally after… that?”
His smile was smug. “Consider it training for your role as Luna. You’ll need to maintain composure in all situations.”

“Is this how you treat all potential Lunas?” I asked before I could stop myself, jealousy flaring unexpectedly.
His expression darkened. “There has never been anyone else I’ve considered for that position. Only you, Victoria.”
The sincerity in his voice shook me more than his touch had. It was one thing to desire someone physically, quite another to want them as a lifelong mate.
“The dress,” he reminded me gently, stepping toward the door. “I’ll wait outside.”
After he left, I stood for a moment collecting myself, staring at my reflection. I barely recognized the woman looking back at me–flushed, disheveled, eyes bright with lingering pleasure.
With shaky hands, I removed my clothes and reached for the emerald gown. The cool silk slid over my sensitized skin like a caress, settling perfectly against my curves. When I emerged from the fitting room, Leo was waiting. The look on his face–pure masculine appreciation mixed with something deeper–made my heart skip a beat.
“Well?” I asked, trying for nonchalance despite my racing heart. “Will it do?”
Leo just stood there, eyes fixed on me. His
8aze dragged down the curve of my waist, the way the silk clung to my hips, then back up to meet my eyes with such intensity that my breath caught in my throat.
He approached slowly, like a man inspecting something that already belonged to him.
“Turn around,” he said, voice low but absolute.
I did.
His fingers skimmed the fabric at my lower back, brushing barely enough to feel like a touch but somehow making my skin burn
“You don’t just wear this dress,” he said finally. “You command it. Like you were made to be looked at… and kept away from every other man breathing.”
He stepped closer, pressing a palm flat against my stomach. “I don’t appreciate the idea of anyone else seeing you like this.”
I lifted a brow, lips quirking. “Then why bring me here at all?”
His smirk was dark. “Because I needed to see it first. And because I enjoy watching you come undone when you try to defy me.“”
Before I could reply, the saleswoman returned with a set of accessories–emerald earrings, a matching choker, subtle but deadly beautiful
“These would complement the gown, Luna,” she offered, tone careful.
Leo didn’t even glance at the price tag. He picked up the necklace, stepped behind me, fastened it around my neck like it was part of some silent claim.
When his hands lingered against my throat, he leaned down and murmured, “Perfect.”

The purchase was swift. No hesitation. No discussion. His black card hit the counter and the attendant nearly bowed.
Minutes later, we were in his car, the world outside dimmed and distant.
He rested a possessive hand on my thigh as he drove, thumb moving in slow, deliberate circles.
The car stopped at a red light. He turned his head, gaze pinning me.
“You think I was satisfied with just touching you through your clothes?” His voice dropped, all smooth command. “You were shaking in my arms, Victoria. You think I didn’t want more? Taste more? Bury myself so deep inside you the mirrors shattered?”
I squeezed my thighs together, heart pounding.
“Leo…” I started, unsure what I meant to say.
He faced forward again, hand still firmly on my thigh. “When we get home, I want you upstairs. The rest of the ride passed in a blur of tension I could barely sit through.
By the time he pulled into the private garage beneath his building, my entire body was a live wire. He got out first, then opened my door with that same controlled grace he used for everything.
“Let’s go,” he said simply.
