LIANA’S POV
“Mom… is he my daddy?”
The question kept ringing in my head long after Ryan asked it. I didn’t know what to say. How could I?
“Ryan…” I called, staring at him like he had just broken my heart to pieces.
But then I did the only thing I could do.
I smiled. Weakly.
“Baby… I’ll tell you everything later, okay? Just… just not now.”
Ryan blinked at me, his big curious eyes filled with confusion.

I swallowed and tried to keep my voice from shaking. “Do you… do you not love Mommy anymore? You only want your daddy now?”
His little face scrunched up, as if the question confused him even more. “No! I love you, Mommy. Don’t cry, okay? I promise I won’t ask again.”
I pulled him close and kissed his forehead, brushing my fingers through his curls while trying
“Go take your bath alright? Get ready for school.”
He nodded obediently and walked into the bathroom.
A knock was thrown at the door.
I didn’t need to ask who it was.
Killian walked in with I and Ryan’s luggage and set them down without a word.
“It’s been dry cleaned.”
“Thanks” I said stiffly, standing and tightening my robe. “Now please get out. I need to change.”
He didn’t move
Instead, he walked to Ryan’s bed and sat down.
“Call him.”
“What?”
“Simon. Call him and break up with him.”
I blinked. “What the hell is wrong with you?!”
“You heard me.”

I shook my head, almost laughing. “You must be delusional if you actually think I’d break up with my boyf-”
Before I could finish, he dragged me to the bed and climbed on top of me in one quick movement.
“Killian! This is Ryan’s room! He can come out any minute now!”

“I’ll only leave if you break up with Simon.”

His jaw ticked angrily and before I knew it, he was already carrying me out of Ryan’s room.

He didn’t listen. He carried me straight to his room, kicked the door shut and locked it. Then he threw me on the bed like I
was nothing more than a feather.
“Let me go!” I stood up quickly.
He pushed me back down.
“Call him.” he said, pulling out my phone. “Now.”
“You’re INSANE!” I snapped. “You’re married to Cynthia! Why the hell are you so obsessed with who I date?”
He chuckled darkly. “I might be married to her, but my soul… belongs to you.”
I scoffed. “Wow. That’s rich.”
I pushed him off and stood again, crossing my arms. “Simon and I? We’re going to be a family. He’s willing to raise Ryan
together with me. As a family.”
Killian’s eyes darkened.

“Get off me!” I tried to push him away.
He scoffed. “You love him. Indeed.”
“Killian. Get. Off. Me!!!” I yelled, pushing him away but Killian’s grip on me was way too strong for me,

“NO. YOU DON’T!” I snapped. “Get. The Fuck. Off, Me! What the Fuck?!”
He wasn’t hearing me. He wasn’t even seeing me. His eyes were darker than I’d ever seen them that I couldn’t differentiate
between his iris from his sclera.
He pinned my wrists. My robe shifted. My breath caught.
“I. Own. You.”
“Stop it!”
He lowered his head to my neck, and before I could scream again, he bit me.
I gasped
Pain bloomed at the side of my neck while warm blood trickled down slowly. I froze.
Killian pulled back.

realizing what he’d done.
He looked at me, really looked at me, like he wasn’t fully human anymore.
Then he spoke. But his voice wasn’t his.
It was deeper. Thicker. As if something else was speaking through him.
“You’re mine. Not anyone’s Mine. Mine. Even if I have to tear the world apart to make it so.”
And for the first time in years, I was truly afraid.
