This marked the first time I had erupted in anger towards Sophia. My eyes held no tolerance as my Alpha

On my way back to the estate, Adrian’s car was forced to stop by my Phantom Rolls–Royce Jacob Hayes exited his vehicle as Amber Stone spoke to me through the partition.
Adrian lowered his window, his expression carefully neutral. “Is there a problem?”
“It seems to be Marcus Blackwood, Jacob informed him quietly.

After Jacob left, I checked into the hotel. Tomorrow would begin my new life.

Early the next morning at the airport, I waited anxiously. Soon, a special vehicle from Shadowme
Center arrived alongside Adrian’s car.
Medical personnel quickly assisted David, transferring him into their professional care. Relief flooded through me seeing him safe.
Adrian approached me. “Remember to call when you reach Riverside City”
“I won’t forget,” I promised. “Please tell Dorothea I’m waiting for her in Riverside City.”
After saying goodbye to Adrian, I prepared to sever my mate bond with Marcus before boarding

“Wonderful! I’ll arrange for someone to pick you up immediately.”
Soon, a luxury sedan arrived at Exit 3. I confirmed the license plate Professor Ashworth had sent and approached.
A middle–aged man exited and confirmed my identity. “My apologies for making you wait, Miss Blackwood.”
He took my luggage and opened the car door. “I’m Benjamin Hayes, Professor Ashworth’s driver.”
I was surprised. I’d never heard of my former professor having a driver. But considering his prestin and
