“Come on Buddy, it’s time for school. It’s almost 8, and you don’t want to be late, okay.” Bryan said. It was really clear that Olivia wasn’t ready to tell her son about their relationship, and he couldn’t blame her yet.
Maybe she was scared about how her son would take all of it seeing that he was a really smart kid who was well aware that he wasn’t his father right from the beginning,

Maybe it was because she had been the only one in his life for so many years, and she was scared of how he would be able to take the news of having to share his mother’s undivided love with someone else.
A lot ran through Olivia’s mind after she responded, and her gaze refused to meet with Bryan’s afterward,

“You should come back home before heading to work first. I’ll take you to work instead.”

Olivia’s heart fluttered when she heard those words from her son and in the brief moment of silence, she almost felt a teardrop from the corner of her eyes,
“Oh baby, Mommy is really happy that you’re hers, okay? That’s the best gift in the world, and I would never trade it for anything. But most importantly, mommy’s happy. She’s the happiest Mom in the entire world.”
“Thank goodness, Mommy. I love you, Mommy.” Noah responded and his response made Olivia let out a chuckle as she parked her car in front of Noah’s school,

“Hi. Trust me, he was such a handful full and I’m glad he’s back to school. Now I could have a few more hours all to myself.” Olivia responded and the lady let out a short–lived chuckle,

“Thank you so much.” Olivia muttered and looked at her son, “Be a good boy, baby; Mommy will come to pick you up soon, and don’t forget I love you so much, baby.” Olivia responded and when her son waved her goodbye, she waved him back,
As soon as Noah was out of sight, Olivia let out a deep breath, ignited the engine, and drove away. About 30 minutes later, she parked her car and stepped out of it, heading into the house.
