“Get out of the way! Are You crazy!! Hey, out of the damn way woman!” Olivia jerked when she heard the raging voice of the man behind her and only then did she realize that the light had turned green seconds ago but she didn’t move out
of the way,
“I’m so sorry.” She muttered to no one in particular and instantly ignited the engine, but as soon as she drove away, she quickly parked at a corner in the road and buried her forehead on her steering wheel,
“What the hell is wrong with you, Olivia? Keep your shit together before you lose it.” She murmured lightly to herself and took in a deep breath,
There was no damn way she was going to accept what her mind was telling her. There wasn’t even a need to think
about it,
She brought her phone out of her bag because the first that suddenly crossed her mind was Stella. Stella needed to know how she was feeling right now.
Stella was the only one who knew everything about her past and at this moment, she needed someone to talk to,
Her line wasn’t reachable and even after the third trial, Olivia still couldn’t reach Stella which made her a bit worried,
After trying for the fourth time and there was still no response, Olivia got ready to tuck her phone back into her pocket but she received a call,
She instantly answered the call and kept the phone a few meters from her face,
“Hi, Mommy!” She heard Noah’s cute voice and chuckled at him,
“Hi, pumpkin pie.”
“Don’t call me that, Mommy, I’m not a baby.” Noah retaliated, and instead, Olivia let out a chuckle and nodded her head, “You’ll forever be my baby, Noah; you’ll be Mommy’s little boy for life even when you turn 60 years.”
The serious look on Noah’s face as soon as she was done talking made Olivia burst into a fit of laughter. Just how much she loves teasing Noah and seeing the funny expressions on his face,
“Where’s Uncle Bryan?”
“He’s working. Mommy, I want to go out and play. When do I get to have some friends?”
“As soon as you’re done with your drugs and watching over your health, we’ll get a good school you could attend and make so many friends, Noah. For now, let Mommy be close by and watch you all the time because I love you.”
“I love you more, Mommy.” He uttered, and she smiled brightly at him,
“I’ll be back soon baby. I’m hanging up now.”
As soon as the call ended, Olivia tucked her phone into her bag and let out a deep breath. Noah had just lifted her spirit so much more than she had expected. Just seeing him grow every day reminded her of all the pains she had to go through

With her mood finally lifted again, Olivia ignited her engine and drove away, heading straight for home
“Sir, I booked the entire mall just like you requested,” Luke uttered, staring at Ethan who was rather lost in thought. He waited for a few seconds, wondering what was making Ethan smile since he stepped into the office,
“Sir…”
“What…?” As soon as Ethan snapped out of his trance, he questioned Luke who heaved deeply,
The last time he saw Ethan smile like this was 6 years ago after Olivia walked out of his life. But now, that smile was
back,
“I booked the entire mall just like you had asked.”
“That’s great. What do I have on my schedule now?”
“Nothing work–related. You made it clear to be reminded of visiting your father today sir.” Luke reminded, and Ethan nodded his head,
As usual, he would have to put up with the multiple questions about Olivia by his father. It had been 6 long years, but his father still wasn’t ready to forget about Olivia,
This had been one of the reasons he didn’t get married to Shirley after Olivia left. He rose to his feet and tucked his phone into his pocket,
“Alright, let’s go,” Ethan instructed and began to walk away while Luke trailed behind him,
When he got into the car, Luke ignited the engine and drove away. The ride to the hospital took about one house from the company and when the car halted, Ethan stepped out of it,
One thing he appreciated was the fact that his father never despised Eva even though she came from the woman he hated. Shirley had never been an option, and even till now, Ethan had no idea why his father strongly disliked her. Maybe he would have gotten married to her years ago if his father had not strongly fought against it,
To him, Shirley was a despicable woman with a hidden motive behind his back, even though she was the mother of his daughter.
“Mr Fordham, good day, you’re welcome once again.” A nurse greeted as soon as she spotted Ethan, and he nodded,
“I’ll escort you to your father’s ward. I checked on him about an hour ago, and he was asleep.” The nur

“How’s he doing?” He questioned the lady standing in front of him,
“It’s been so hard controlling his amnesia. He only calls out to a name every day.”
“What name?”
“Olivia.” She responded and Ethan raised his brows at her, “What?”
“I’ve heard it a few times from him and I believe it must be someone special.” The nurse uttered, but instead, Ethan began to walk away, heading towards the elevator while Luke and the nurse trailed behind him
As soon as he got to the entrance of his father’s ward, he let out a deep breath, held the knob, and opened the door,
“Dad…” Ethan called slowly, walking towards Mr Fordham who had a small book in his hand with a pair of glasses on
his face,
As soon as Mr Fordham cocked his head towards Ethan, he let out a small smile and outstretched his hand towards
him,
“Come, I have a wonderful story for you.”
Ethan gently collected his father’s hand and sat down on the bed close to him,
“What is it?” He questioned as he watched his father avert his gaze back to the book he was holding,
“Be quiet, let me finish.” Mr Fordham muttered, and 2 minutes later, he shut the book,
“Do you know her?” Ethan heard and once again raised his brows. He had no idea his dad had gotten this worse and could hardly recall him now,
“Who are you talking about, Dad?”
“Olivia Fordham. Do you know her? She’s my daughter–in–law. She’s my son’s caring and beautiful wife. She’s my son’s savior.”
