Today was finally the day the hospital was going to be opened and all the pending patients moved in as well. “Are you nervous?” Olivia heard from behind her and let out a smile.
“Let me help you with that baby,” Bryan uttered as he walked behind her and collected the necklace from Olivia,
“I’m nervous, Bryan. I have a feeling that things aren’t going to go smoothly. What if things go wrong and f can’t handle them in the end?” Olivia muttered staring at the diamond necklace Bryan had gifted her on her birthday two years ago,
For six years, he never forgot her birthday even once,
“You’ll do just great, trust me. I’ll be beside you always, and Noah, he’s always going to be proud of how far his mother has come, all for his sake. We’re both going to be proud of you, baby” Bryan responded as he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind and planted a soft kiss on her neck,
She inhaled in a long breath and nodded her head, “Thank you so much. Thank you for believing in me most.”
Olivia turned around to stare at him, “When are you going back to Australia? The hospital might need you there,” she questioned,
“Everything is fine. I can handle things from here and besides, I want to stay with you here for as long as possible,” he uttered, making the smile on Olivia’s face brighten up even more,
“I’m late, I have to go now,” Olivia uttered and instantly broke the hug. As soon as she picked up her bag from the table, she walked out of the house with Bryan trailing behind her,
Olivia got the living room,
“Noah still asleep isn’t he?” she questioned and Bryan nodded his head while she let out a low chuckle,
“I need to give him a goodbye kiss before leaving” she uttered and began hurrying towards Noah’s room. As soon as Olivia got in, she met him cutely asleep like a baby and smiled at his sleeping figure,
She walked over to the bed and sat down on it, and after rubbing his cheek gently, she planted a soft kiss on his forehead before rising on her feet once again.
“Call me if anything goes wrong/I’ll get Noah ready and we’ll be there before you know it.” Bryan uttered
as Olivia shut the door to Noah’s room. She nodded her head and muttered in a low voice,

There was no need to call Ethan because she had permission to as Eva’s Doctor without Ethan,
“Eva Fordham.” She informed the young nurse who nodded her head and handed her the access card to the ward, “Thank you.” She murmured before walking away and heading towards the elevator.
As soon as Olivia got to the entrance, she opened the door and stepped in but was rather shocked to see Shirley close to her mother,
“What are you doing here?” Olivia had no idea when these words rushed out of her mouth as she moved
closer to Eva’s bed,
Instead of a response, Shirley let out a scoff as she stared at Olivia, “I should be asking you that bitch.
“You don’t have to cuss; there’s a six–year–old in here, Shirley. Besides, I’m her doctor and I have every right to be here.”
“And I’m her mother so I have even more right to be here.” Shirley fired back in anger as she let go of Eva
and rose to her feet,
As Shirley walked towards Olivia, Olivia didn’t bother moving but instead remained in her position with her arms folded on her chest,
This time around, as Shirley stared into her eyes, she realized that the scared little Olivia who always shivered at her footsteps was long gone and now replaced with an Olivia who could stare at her directly in
the eyes,
“Look who’s able to look me in the eyes now…” she let out a dry chuckle but Olivia didn’t fling at her words, nor did she respond. At least she was thankful that Shirley had realized she wasn’t the same Olivia
anymore,
“Guess this is your plan of revenge right? Come back and take Ethan away from me just like I did to you in the past. Ethan was always mine from the beginning, just that he saw you first.”
“I won’t stoop as low as you did, Shirley. Respect yourself, you have a daughter watching you.” Olivia muttered but as she tried to move away, Shirley grabbed her wrist,
“Watch it bitch! How can I trust my daughter in the hands of the bitch who wants to take her father away from her? Stay the hell away from my family, Olivia, or…”
“Or else what? Don’t forget Shirley, six years ago, you also ruined my family so don’t act like an innocent person in front of your daughter.” Olivia yelled, but as the words rushed out of her mouth, she cocked her

head towards Eva to see that the little girl was crying.
“Both of you stop it right this minute,” Ethan yelled from the door as he marched towards them,
Taking a deep breath in to cool down, Ethan darted his gaze away from Olivia and stared at Shirley, “What the hell do you think you’re doing Shirley?”
“Daddy!” Eva cried out and cocking his head towards his daughter, Ethan ran towards her. “Hey, my
princess, Daddy is here, okay? Daddy is here.” He murmured to Eva as she gently hugged him tight,
“Leave.”
“What?” Shirley responded,
“Are you asking me to leave all because of her?” She yelled,
“Yes Shirley, leave. Right now, what our daughter needs, most importantly, is a doctor. If you can’t stand one being with her right now, then you should leave immediately.”
Shirley let out a loud scoff placing one hand on her hips, “So what? You two are having an affair now
right?”
In a hurry, Ethan covered Eva’s ears with his palm and let out another deep frustrating breath,
“I’m moving her to your hospital right away, Olivia; prepare everything that needs to be prepared for the transfer.” He uttered while Olivia only nodded her head,
Ethan rose to his feet afterward and as he marched towards Shirley, he grabbed her arm,
“Don’t fucking make a fuss and come with me right now.” He muttered, and without uttering a word, Shirley followed Ethan out of the ward, shutting the door behind,
As soon as they were gone, Olivia shut her eyes so she inhaled in and exhaled for a calm mood while Eva stared at her with tears in her eyes,
Was this how the little girl had been living? It was just too much for her. She would never watch Noah go through such, never!! Shirley probably didn’t care about the mental health of her daughter, but Olivia couldn’t understand why.
“Hey, Eva, do you remember me?” She muttered, and when Eva nodded her head, Olivia smiled as she sat down on the bed close to Eva,
“Good. So good. So how do you feel? Are you okay? Do you feel any pain? I’m here to make sure you’re okay, baby.”
She raised her hand and rubbed Eva’s hair gently. Olivia had no idea why it was hurting so bad seeing her

This was the next thing Olivia heard, which made her widen her eyes in shock instead.
