“Tomorrow is he conference for the Dr. Bio investment, and you thought it was wise to just tell me today that Ethan was also interested in that project? Bryan shouted as he threw the papers his personal assistant had presented to him in anger
“I told you to watch everything that happens in the company and to report your findings to me, you did not think that it was important that I needed to know one of my opponents for the biggest project of the year was Ethan?”
He yelled at the PA, who was crouched on his knees, asking for forgiveness
He kicked him on his stomach, and he doubled over, coughing
“What use are you to me if you cannot get anything right? I should have just killed you.”
“I am sorry, I am sorry, sir. It was a last–minute entry; Ethan had not shown any interest in the project beforehand, and I had frustrated any effort made to contact Dr Bio. I had no idea how he was able to meet up with him immediately after Dr Bio arrived from Korea.” The personal assistant rambled as another blow met his face
“Are you saying Ethan has met with Dr Bio in person?” Bryan asked, tightening his fists in anger, he began kicking the assistant on the floor, directing all his rage onto him
“Get out of my office. I fucking don’t want to see your face until you have sorted this out. Do whatever you must, but Ethan must not attend the Dr Bio conference tomorrow.”

Bryan ordered, and the assistant scurried out of the office

He would have to go after Ethan directly, maybe not to kill him, but to teach him a lesson, not to touch what belongs to him
It was hard enough pretending like he didn’t know something had gone on between Olivia and Ethan, each time he saw her smile, he felt like wiping it off

When he had found out, his first thought was to confront her about it, but he had decided against it immediately
If he confronted her about it, she would probably end the relationship and choose to be with Ethan

Eva cried out as she sent the plate of food flying to the floor and burst into tears
“Stay away from me; I want Miss Olivia; not you. Where is Noah?” She cried out, scurrying away from Shirley
“Come on, Eva, we can’t do this all over again, You can’t keep throwing a tantrum like a spoiled brat.” Shirley snapped in frustration
Eva grabbed the plate of rice and threw it towards Shirley. The food poured on her, and the plate clattered to the floor

Shirley screamed, causing Eva to cry in fright. She ran under the table and crouched there in fright, crying
“What is happening? What is all this mess?” Ethan said as he entered the dining room. He had just gotten back from work to hear a ruckus coming from the dining room
“It’s Eva, she has started again,” Shirley said as she groaned in frustration, trying to wipe the food off her body
“Argh! I can’t take this. Why does she hate me so much?” She asked in frustration, almost stomping her feet like a child
Ignoring her, Ethan called out softly, “Eva”
“Eva, please come out.” He pleaded, but she simply ignored him and remained under the table, crying
“I want Miss Olivia and Noah“, she cried out, refusing to budge from under the table and surprisingly she remained under the table like that for more than half of the day
Frustrated, Ethan tucked his hand into his pocket, bringing out his phone so he could call Olivia. That was the only option he had to keep his daughter sane and under control.
“Hi,” he mumbled into the phone, a little bit shocked that Olivia had even answered the call.
“What do you want?” Olivia’s sharp voice came from the other end
“I’m sorry I had to do this, but I had no choice.”
“Can you get straight to the point?” Olivia stated, her voice steeled
