Lucas wanted to explain, but when he saw the angry, cold looks on his parents‘ and Andrew’s face, he just felt completely powerless inside. It felt like no matter what he said or did, it wouldn’t make a difference.

The warm, friendly vibe was back in the air, like that little episode just now never even happened.
But once everyone had gone their separate ways and Lydia returned to her room, her smile vanished, replaced by a cold, gloomy look. Lately, nothing in her life was going right.
