Chapter 177
He dropped to his knees beside Pudding’s motionless body, cradling her with trembling arms as he expertly retrieved and applied her inhaler.
Young miss? Why was he calling her that?
But I didn’t have time to process it.
Because what truly seized my attention… was the figure silhouetted in the doorway.
He stood tall and imposing, dressed entirely in black that seemed to blend with the night itself. Even in the dim light, there was no mistaking the dangerous aura radiating from him–an Alpha’s fury in its purest form.
“Who the fuck are you?” Yellow Teeth stammered, momentarily startled by the intrusion.
Scar Face rose from my body, turning toward the door with a snarl. “Who’s interrupting my fun? You must have
a death wish!”
The man stepped forward, still shrouded in shadow. I couldn’t make out his features clearly.
What I could see clearly, however, was the Silver Bullet Gun in his hand, leveled directly at Scar Face.
Before anyone could react–BANG!
The sound of the gunshot was deafening in the small cabin.
A perfect hole appeared in the center of Scar Face’s forehead, blood spraying outward as his expression froze in
shock.
His body crashed down heavily onto mine, knocking the wind from my lungs.
“Cough! Cough!” I choked against the gag as warm blood spattered across my face and chest.
The man who had just executed Scar Face hadn’t spoken a single word. No warning, no threats–just swift,
merciless action.
With Scar Face’s dead weight crushing me, his lifeless eyes staring into nothing, I should have been terrified. But all I felt was overwhelming relief.
Pudding was safe. My little one was finally rescued.

Tears of gratitude flooded my eyes.

Who had come to our rescue? Was it Pudding’s uncle she had mentioned? But I recalled meeting her uncle
before he seemed gentle and kind, nothing like the ruthless executioner who had just killed without
hesitation.
My chest heaving with effort, I struggled to turn my head toward our savior, desperate to see his face.
I was too late. All I caught was a glimpse of black fabric fluttering in the night breeze before he moved beyond
my line of sight.
“W–who are you people?” Yellow Teeth’s voice trembled, terror replacing his earlier bravado.
Silence. That was the only answer he got.
He immediately crumpled to his knees, snot and tears streaming down his face.
“Please, sir! I made a mistake!” he begged, his voice breaking. “It was all Scar Face’s idea! He forced me to do
this!”
“If I hadn’t gone along with it, he would have killed me! Please, sir, I’m begging you–have mercy! I was just
following orders!”
“Bullshit!” Jeremy’s voice cut through the pathetic pleas as he delivered a savage kick that sent Yellow Teeth
sprawling. “You’re just as guilty as your friend–you were going to let a child die!”
Yellow Teeth scrambled across the floor, grabbing desperately at the black–clad man’s legs.
“Sir, you’re right to be angry!” he sobbed. “Beat me if it makes you feel better! Kick me! I’ll do anything you
want–just please spare my life!”
“I’ll serve you like a dog for the rest of my-”
His plea cut off abruptly as I heard a soft, chilling chuckle from our rescuer, followed by the distinct sound of a gun being pressed against Yellow Teeth’s temple.
Yellow Teeth’s eyes widened in pure terror. “No, please, no-”
BANG!
A second life extinguished in mere moments. The man had executed both kidnappers without so much as blinking, without even bothering to look at the bodies afterward.

Through my tears, I watched Jeremy cradle Pudding’s small form, checking her breathing before carrying her
over to the man in black.
“Alpha Alexander,” Jeremy said respectfully, “the young miss is stable. She’s unconscious, but I’ve
administered her medication.”
Alpha Alexander?
My heart stuttered in my chest.
I never imagined I would see Alexander again–especially not like this.
Tears streamed down my cheeks before I even realized it, and I cried out toward the figure already turning to
leave through the door.
“Mmmph! Mmmph!!”
Alexander, don’t go!
Please, just turn around.
It’s been five years. Let me see you. Just once–just once.
