Chapter 20
:
The instant I touched Jayne’s arm, I knew it without a doubt.
She will be ours. She wants to be with us, and here we are, exactly where we planned to be.

Jayne is seated in between us. There is no easy way out for her except through conversation, and I feel entirely triumphant.
Sure, she tried to buy herself some time to think. When she smiled and tried to move away from me, it was the most delightful thing. Then Lucas moved to her other side, and I could almost see her heart heave out of her chest.
She’s unprepared for her new reality. Her breathing is labored, and her thoughts are unhinged, which is exactly where I want her. I don’t want her thinking rationally. I want her to ignore that little voice that tells her all of the reasons to say no. I want her in her rawest state.
Lucas is still on the other side of her, and we are waiting. She’s processing, and she’ll let us know when we can continue.
I’m practicing a level of patience I have never experienced before, and Lucas’s self–control is off the charts tonight.
Her luscious lips part, then shut a couple of times before she makes the smallest of sounds, and I know I can begin.
“Jayne.” My voice startles her back to the present.
“Yes?” Her voice is subdued and compliant, and she’s clutching her empty glass of water like it’s the only thing keeping us from her.
Oh, how wrong she is.
“Are you all right?” I match her low tone to try to get her to relax.
“L…don’t know. I-” Her open and honest emotions are intoxicating. She doesn’t know to hide her expressions from us, and it is glorious.
“Tell us how you feel right now, Jayne, in detail. Give us some words that describe it.” Lucas guides her toward
what we want.
Jayne shifts her gaze to Lucas and considers his request. She’s still holding her glass. “Um. Confused, I think? Vulnerable–outnumbered…” Her voice trails off, and I’m elated at her honesty and willingness to verbally expose herself. Saying these things, opening up and sharing innermost feelings, is difficult.
“Those are beautiful words, Jayne.” Lucas’s voice is low as he leans in to speak to her. He’s pleased with her unguarded response.
I can tell by his restrained posture that he is holding back–we both are.
His hand is on the table, and he is rubbing his thumb and fingers into a clenched fist to suppress his tension.

Jayne is different. How we want her is different than how we’ve wanted a relationship in the past, and she needs to come to us on her own as much as we need to take her.
It was never a question of which one of us wanted her. I could tell we both did, and, while I wasn’t going to back down, I also wouldn’t deny my brother the chance be happy.
I can’t hold back any longer. I need to take the next step.
I run my fingers down her bare arm, and she parts her lips slightly to take in more air.
Caught off guard, she loosens her grip on her glass. Lucas leans into her, holds her wrist while he removes the empty glass from her hand, and sets it softly on the table. He keeps his grip gentle and holds her hand steady while his thumb begins to massage slow, deliberate circles around the inside of her wrist.
Jayne is disoriented now, shifting her gaze from our hands to our faces. She’s slipping into us. She’s so close.
As I draw my fingers slowly down her arm, Lucas uses a finger on his free hand to draw a long line from her wrist up to her inner elbow. Her body begins to tell us everything we need to know as goosebumps flare to life along her skin.
“So responsive, Jayne.” Lucas’s voice is almost a growl, and Jayne lets out a breath I realize she must have been holding. I’m almost at my breaking point.
We need her consent, her agreement that she is open to going further.
Enough. I need to end this now.
“Jayne. We’re attracted to you.” Her eyes snap back to me as she begins to absorb my words, and I’m done holding back. “Both Lucas and I. We want you for ourselves, and for us–together. Only ours. We–I want to see where we can take this.” I take a breath to allow her to process, then I continue. “Before you answer, it’s important you know that you can say no and nothing will change between us at work. But we both hope you say yes and allow us to show you what we’re capable of. Do you want us, Jayne?”
For a moment I fear I’ve lost her, and I can tell Lucas is wrestling with the same concern.
She looks between us, breathing heavily with wide eyes, and I can see her mind fighting to stay afloat. Her pupils dilate, and I know she is struggling to release herself to us.
I glance quickly to Lucas, who is rubbing her wrist and watching her intently. Then I look back into her eyes and gently kiss the back of her hand. Then I move on and gently kiss each finger, one at a time, while Lucas lifts her other hand to his mouth and begins to kiss the inside of her wrist where he was just touching her.
Her eyes flicker. She’s made her decision, and I hope this is where she ends and we begin.
“Yes” is all she gets out on a throaty whisper as she frees herself to us.
In a second, Lucas and I both pin her arms across the couch’s back rest.
Now she’s spread out around us.
Welcoming us.

Chapter 20
My need to physically feel her submission is consuming me. We have everything we need.
It’s time.

I reach my hand up her neck and to the back of her head, where I fist her hair gently and turn her face toward
- me.
Cupping her jaw with my free hand, I run my tongue along her lips, pushing for access. She allows it, parting her lips with a soft moan.
Her body surrenders to mine, and I know I’m hovering too close to the fine line between control and chaos.
I brush her hair off of her shoulder on Lucas’s side, allowing him access. He shifts from her wrist and runs his tongue over her collarbone, kissing and sucking along her neck as she lets out a soft moan.
I can no longer be gentle.
My kiss becomes consuming as I take everything she gives me, then push for a little more, as I know Lucas is doing the same. Our arms crisscross in front of her and settle on either side of her waist to hold her close.
Jayne’s breathing is heavy now, but she has remained open to us, pushing her lips into my kiss and allowing Lucas more room to explore.
Her docility is magnificent. She’s perfect.
My restraint is slipping, and I want more. So much more.
I pull back from our kiss to look at her, and it is now I realize how heavy my own breathing has become. I’m uncomfortably hard at the mere sight of her, and my resolve to hold back from fully satiating my hunger is unraveling.
She is everything I want. This is everything I want.
“Jayne, say it again. Tell us you want this.” I’m calm, but I command her attention. Her beautiful hazel eyes are wide and dilated. My heart is raging to its own fevered beat, and Lucas waits for her response.
I want her to tell us.
I want her to say it.
I want her to ask for us.
The extent of what we want, what she will give to us and what we will take from her, is unknown to her right now. I want to hear her sweet little voice tell us she wants to find out.
“Declan…” Her voice is breathy now. “Lucas…” She shifts her gaze between us. Wanting but afraid. Timid but curious. But our brave little girl doesn’t hesitate. “I want this. I want you–both.”
It’s the last bit we wanted from her. Now we can move forward. We can let tomorrow happen, then work to build something satisfying for all of us. It’s a good place to stop before things go too far.

Lucas smiles as he lifts his hand from her waist. He draws a soft line along the inside of her plunging neckline down the bare skin of her breast with his finger.
As if she’s a button that’s been pressed, Jayne snaps.
In my distraction, I’ve failed to notice her own self–control is crumbling–hard. She grips the back of both of our shirts in a tight fist as she fights to hold on to herself, but she slips.
Just a bit. Just enough.
Parting her lips, she lets out a desperate moan as her body shudders in our arms.
Then all hell breaks loose, and neither Lucas nor I can contain our obsession any longer.
