“Nora! We’re here!”
The two men spotted me immediately, waving enthusiastically. Ignoring the bewildered stares from everyo- ne else, they bounded over to me like a pair of eager puppies.
“Cassie sent us to keep you company.”
At those words, a kaleidoscope of expressions washed over the faces in the room. Parker’s friends shot him furtive glances, their whispers just loud enough to carry.
“See, Parker? What did I tell you? Women can’t resist temptation!”
“Two at once? Man, you must have really been starving her. Tsk, tsk.‘
They were too far away for me to hear clearly, but my only priority was getting rid of these two complicatio-
ns Cassie had sent.
“How much did Cassie pay you? I’ll double it. Just leave, now,” I hissed under my breath.
I had no idea that from where Parker was sitting on the sofa, our hushed conversation looked intensely inti- mate, as if I was completely ignoring my husband, lost in the thrill of a late–night delivery of beautiful men.
“Come on, Nora, let us stay and play. We know lots of games, lots of positions… we guarantee you’ll be sati-
sfied,” the model purred, giving me a sultry wink.
My skin crawled. I risked a glance over my shoulder and saw Parker staring at me, his eyes dark and stormy. He was always so inscrutable, a master of hiding his emotions. Even now, I couldn’t tell if he was angry or
just… resigned.
If I hadn’t just seen his secret blog, I probably would have let my spite take over and dragged both men ups- tairs. But now, all I wanted was to see Parker’s reaction. If he would just show a flicker of jealousy, one oun- ce of possessiveness as a husband, I would kick everyone out and devote my entire night to him.
I waited. For a full thirty seconds, Parker said nothing. His gaze seemed to lose focus, his brow furrowed as
if he was processing a world of pain internally–anguish, struggle, and finally, a bleak acceptance.
At last, he stood up, his eyes landing on me with a chilling emptiness.
“Is this what you needed to talk to me about?” he asked, his lips barely moving.
I was too stunned to reply.
He continued, his voice stiff, “Since you have guests, you should entertain them properly.”

Chapter 2
His words hung in the air, shocking not just me, but his friends as well. They stared, mouths agape.
“Damn, Parker… talk about a magnanimous king,” one of them muttered.
Another chimed in, “She doesn’t even have to cheat on the road anymore. He’s letting her bring the party
right to his doorstep!”
My jaw twitched. I wanted nothing more than to march over there and slap him. Hard.
Instead, I forced a bright, cheerful smile.
“Of course, darling. I will be sure to… entertain… my guests very, very well.”
Fine. Let’s see how long you can keep up this act, you stubborn fool.
